This has included exterior trim replacement, replacing a box window with a French door and side light unit, and replacing a large unusually sized window. He also built a beautiful mahogony deck. Indoors, he installed a french door which included fine trim work. In addition, he hired excellent subcontractors to powerwash and paint our home and build a patio, porch and walks. If there’s a question about how to address an issue, they will ask the customer, but always have solutions to offer. Make sure you have all the items you’re responsible for ordered (appliances, counter top, cabinets, faucet, hardware etc.) and in-house, or with delivery dates because you will have trouble keeping up with them once they start! Quality of work is outstanding and always with an attention to detail. The job stayed on budget, all additional work was done under change orders – except one instance. Make certain to ask whether any changes being discussed come under the scope of the contract or are additional work. This is particularly important with sub-contractors like plumbing and electrical."

"I found Italian Painting Co. on Angie's list. Since Joe was located in the neighborhood I called him for an estimate on the three projects I needed to be addressed. Firstly, he arrived exactly on time of the appointment. After examining a water problem I was experiencing, he provided me with a less costly and a more sensible option. I then asked him to give me quotes on removing an air conditioner and its shell and closing the hole. The room also needed to be painted. I found his estimates to be in line with everyone else. We established a time frame that would work for him and me. He guaranteed that his work would be completed in three days. True to his word, he arrived on time. My masonry work looks great. On the same day he bricked, framed, insulated and sheet rocked the wall. Two days later he returned as promised and painted. What can I say. His work was impeccable. He was clean, neat and left no mess behind. The man is a professional and a gentlemen. I would definitely rehire him. P.S. "First project: Derek arrived quickly with a quote and was able to provide me with an acceptable timeline for scheduling.  He returned the do the work over a few days as much filling, drying, and sanding was needed.  The finished product well exceeded my expectations.  All wall and ceiling damage was corrected.  It was truly a night and day difference. 
Second project: Because I was so pleased with the bedroom, Derek was rehired to paint two bathrooms.  When the first bathroom fell behind schedule, Derek had no problem adjusting his schedule around the delay.  He was able to complete both bathrooms on the new schedule and again to my liking.  I would hire him again for any painting needs and would recommend him to friends and family.
