"Today we had a major upgrade to our farm. Our cabin and tool shed had electricity but our new feed shed didn't. We also only had a few outlets just to run basic things. We had looked for over a year for someone local and had gotten several estimates, but a few people we wanted to go with were not licensed. We just happened to see a rave/review about Big Frog Electric South. We called them they came right out listened to what we wanted to do and gave suggestions along with the cost. We decided to go with them and they did not disappoint. They put in all new sub-panels, and outdoor outlets all of our buildings have a ton of outlets and light switches ???. Our heating and cooling for the cabin is finally done. This was big for us. We highly recommend them, everyone was nice and friendly, and they didn't leave a mess at all. "Saved our house from burning down! We had called another company who came out and didn't even look at our breaker box to diagnose the problem before telling us we were safe to keep using it. Unsatisfied and wary of this information we called Lightning Bug Electric. Steven came out, actually pulled our breaker box apart, and was able to diagnose a serious issue. "Floyd did a very good job for us. I had cut some wires on my porch and he routed new wire to one end and then secured the connection into a junction box and recessed the box into the wall as requested. He also removed another superfluous junction box for us in the same wall a little lower.  He installed a light switch in our attic (to replace the pull string) and added an additional light for us in the back of the attic. I was very happy with the Floyd's punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism."

As it turned he (Mark Henderson), the electrician pointed out while checking my electrical panel of something that could be gave down the road. We live in our homes oblivious to what lurks beneath the surface. It's almost, as if you need to take an electrician, along with you on your househunting endeavors. Too ensure the property you may buy is within code, certainly, if it's an older home! By the way he Mark, solved the problem with the original reason for the call!!"

"So far, the service our family has received from Ragsdale Heating, Air and Plumbing has been excellent. We have been using their services for nearly a year now. The first time a Ragsdale technician came to our house was due to some issues we were having with the air conditioner last spring. The problem was easily resolved and we signed up for a service contract for the maintenance of our furnace and air conditioner.
Today, two technicians from Ragsdale, Heating, Air and Plumbing came out to our house for a maintenance check of our furnace and air conditioner. The window I chose for their arrival was between 10 am and 2 pm. They arrived at 10:15; a pleasant surprise since I didn't have to wait for the full 4 hour window. The last time a technician came out to fulfill the service contract was during the Fall of 2013. Each and every technician that has been sent to our house has been friendly, professional, courteous, and on time. There were NO pushy sales tactics or anything like that; just the honest truth about the condition of our units and the possibility that we may need to change a part on one of our units later but it wasn't urgent.
I don't remember the exact cost of the service contract but I do know that it was not some exhorbitant amount (it was less than $200 I believe). And that was a good price for us considering that we had not regularly maintained our units during the 5 years we had been in our home.
I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new service provider for their air conditioner and furnace.
