"We pulled up the carpet in our living/dining room, of a house built in the fifties, that had hardwood floors underneath. We had the hardwood floors refinished on November 19th, 2019, which also included replacing about 4x3 section. I waited a month to do this rating to be sure the work was good. Javier came and gave us a fair and true quote, explaining what would happen, and what would work best since there were some stains in the wood. No guarantees were made that the stains would come out. The other quote we received was from a top company, but no explanation of the work done, or the best options. To be fair, Javier’s price was also lower. Javier and his family (team) came on the day and did everything they said. The final product is great, and looks beautiful. Monteros Hardwood Flooring is a company I fully recommend. "We had experienced a water leakage into our carpet on the first floor, so I contacted experts of Hometown Restoration and spoke with the owner, who was helpful and answered all of my questions. They made a schedule and arrived at our house on that day. First, they inspected the place nicely and then explained to us the whole process of what they would be going to do. It was excellent advice, so I hired them to fix our floors. They could altogether remove all of the water and dry things out, and we are delighted with the work they did. If you face any issue with fire or water damage or need any help regarding other services, I would highly suggest them. They did an excellent job, and it was a fantastic experience to work with them!"

"It took a long time but it is done. I had some problems with them but they did satisfy me as the customer. There were some spots on the floor that should have not been there. So they ended up giving me a discount, it was a $30000 job and they gave me a 900 discount for the spots on the floor so I don't know how to rate them. The floor is 99% perfect. There was only a 1% I was unhappy with and am still unhappy with. But I decided to settle with them because I didn't want to move out all of my furniture again and have them redo the floor. It's really a big hassle. I don't want to give them a bad mark but I just can't give them a 10. 

They were very professional so I have to admire that. I would use them again for carpet but probably not for oak flooring."
