"Haider was a great help getting our remodel completed! He was able to help us develop a plan, work through options and coordinate with vendors. Wouldn’t of been able to complete it without him!"

Customers say: Quick response

"It?s been less than 5 years since we hired them to do a remodel on our home in tahoe and things are already falling apart. If I could go back in time I would NOT hire them. The most notable issue has been the plumbing work done by the owners son. It was not done correctly and required some reworking immediately after and now needs to be repaired by a professional. "

"The work in my house was supposed to be done over 3 years ago. It's still not done. I had to hire someone else to complete part of the work. The only thing Joe was on top of was when it involved giving him money. I paid over $5k for a custom vanity that is nowhere to be found and Joe has gone radio silent. "

"Working with Avil Enterprises was a great experience! While it is difficult to get through the permitting process, Mike was good at communicating quickly and clearly to keep the project moving. When the time crunch became pressing they stepped up their resources to helps us achieve our opening date. Their fees seemed fair and their estimate was close to the expected amount. I appreciate them and we look forward to working with them again. "

"Steve recently completed a remodel of two bathrooms and a kitchen for me and each space turned out better than I could have hoped, I especially love how the custom tile pattern looks in the master bathroom and all of the amazing storage space I have now. Steve and his crew did a fantastic job and all of the finishes turned out immaculate. I’m so happy with the final results!"

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Reno, NV

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
