Shane tested our water and also went by an independent water test that we had performed on our new well water and determined that we needed a regular water softener (he originally said we'd also need an iron curtain to remove excess iron but then found out that our level of iron was not high enough to need this) which was Hellenbrand and an S & Q ultraviolet light to kill the bacteria found in the well water. Shane was great at describing everything that we needed and how it would all work and his work turned out to be excellent. He even had to instruct the plumber on how to properly set up the plumbing lines as they were not totally hooked up right and he did so with patience and accurateness. Once everything was set up correctly, we ended up with much cleaner and softer water in our new home! A follow-up water bacterial count showed that the bacteria was being destroyed by the UV light that was installed. Whenever I have had to call Water Systems of Alabama with questions or issues with the new water equipment, they have been professional and kind."
