This company did an amazing job from consultation explaining everything to the installers that came to replace my old shower to the new. "The salesman should have told me the tearout of the old shower and the installation of the new shower would cause a white dust over everything in every room. I have a lot of cleanup to do. I am not happy with the caulking around the base of the shower. It looks a little messy. The installer said it was because the gap between the flooring and the new shower base was wider than usual. I think a better job should have been done. Overall the new showers look beautiful and are working fine."

"The gutters got cleaned. Leaf Filters were installed on the gutter. I am waiting to see if the filters actually worked. There were two issues. The first is that the installer did not show for the orginal appointment. I had to call customer service to reschedule the appointment. The second issue is that two items in my garage were stolen. The items were a toilet auger and a day pack. The day pack contained "essential items" for hiking that I have had for at least 30 years. Essential means items like a compass, emergency blanket, first aid etc. plus a monocular. It will cost around $250.00 to replace."

"I had Ken and his crew come out in Dec. 2019 to install a new shower and replace two sink faucets in our primary bathroom. They did a great job. We did need a little warranty work done recently and they sent out a service technician who did what we asked courteously and professionally. I love a company that stands behind their work and Prime Baths in Coal City does just that. Will use them again as needed for sure."

"**UPDATE: Just yesterday (a day or two after I submitted the review below), we noticed that Barrier had come out and replaced the trim with the correct color. I don't know when they came to do this, as we received no notifications that they were coming/had been there. We're pleased that this finally got done and hope that any possible future projects with Barrier go smoother. 

The work on the window replacement was fine, but they put the wrong color trim on the exterior window framing. The install crew didn't bother to let my husband know (who was home at the time of the work) that they were finished, and rather than letting him know so he could check their work and make sure it was done correctly, they just left. We contacted Neil Masten a couple of days later via phone to let him know that the trim color was wrong, and he indicated they'd have to special order the correct color trim. He indicated it would take a few weeks but as soon as it came in, they'd send someone out to fix it. Well it's been a few months, and after one follow up call initiated by myself that was answered (I was told they were still waiting on the trim to be delivered) and another call that was again initiated by me and has now gone unanswered for 2 weeks, we are still waiting for the trim to get fixed. They have our money already because we bought the services through the Angies List Big Deal, so getting paid is not a motivating factor for them to complete the work."

"Will did a great job installing 7 exterior light fixtures for our home. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. He kept a clean work area and finished on time. I would highly recommend him for any handyman jobs and would hire him again."

"Beyond The 4 Walls construction did a beautiful bathroom remodel which involved installing wallboard, drywall, vanity lighting, double vanity , plumbing , floor tile, wall demolition, shower fixtures. Great work , came out beautiful and professionally installed. I am a very happy customer!!"
