"Our Maple hardwood floor of 20 years had developed numerous scratches, so we wanted it refinished. It seems to be the smarter option than replacing it. Of the half dozen contractors that came out to do an estimate, only Travis with J&B showed respect, professionalism and desire to do the job well. In this day and age, those are exceedingly rare qualities unfortunately. We have an open floor plan with 20-ft ceilings covering 2 floors. Some contractors told me that there would be so much dust that we would have to hire cleaners to deep clean the entire house. In contract, Travis told me that their process would be about 90% dust-free, and was willing to work with me on further dust control. On the first day, Travis and his crew showed up promptly and covered most of the non-work interior of the house with plastic. They sanded down the floors with equipment that’s attached to vacuum hoses. In the end of the day, the vacuums collected two drums of wood scraps and the plastic covers only collected a thin layer of dust. 3 days and 3 coats of sealants later, we had our floor looking brand new and beautiful. We chose the Bona water-based finish, so the odor wasn’t bad at all. Before applying the final coat, they removed all the plastic and vacuumed the house. I would say in the end, it was more like 95% dust-free. We only had to do a couple of hours of cleaning ourselves after things dried. On and all, we are very happy with the results. This is definitely the best bang-per-buck of all the remodel projects we have been through. Travis and J&B are real pros in this business, and I’d recommend them to anyone in a heart beat."

"Eugene is so capable, talented and amazing! He single handedly put all of our furniture out of the way so he can start installing our floor. He removed the toilet to install the floor and FIX OUR TOILET! He then removed our refrigerator, range, and dishwasher ALL BY HIMSELF!! He originally told me he would have my floor done in 5 days but finished in 3 days. Before he left I asked him to give me an estimate for our carpeted area. We will have him install our carpet next. We requested some little things he even went right to Home Depot to help us finish the job. I will highly recommend using Flooring Pro Inc. "My Realtor recommend Floor Covering International and from my first phone call to Tony Evers, the owner, to the actual installation and wrapup, it was a great experience. After my first phone call, when he started to educate me, to my meetings at his office, where he continued to educate me, I quickly realized this was someone who was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of flooring, which was the only service I was investigating. He showed me samples of possibilities, we discussed prices of hardwood, laminite, bamboo, my lifestyle, and my preferences. While I was going through the mortgage loan process he gave me a written bid which was very fair. Then, just before the loan was approved he met me at the condo property and brought paint samples and advised me on which wall should be accented, which was not the one I'd originally picked, but he was right. I thought I wanted a dark red and again he advised me to a different color and he was right again. He is a perfectionist, while being casual and considerate; not being critical, but advising the customer in a very professional manner. After the property closing, he immediately had his workman come and remove the baseboards and old carpeting. Then he waited until the interior was painted. Then his workers came back and made the flooring installation, including new baseboards, working around another contractor's schedule doing my bathtub resurfacing. The job was done beautifully, professionally, on time and everything was hauled away and cleaned up, including taking away old broken shower doors. Those doors had nothing to do with Tony's contract but he did it as a favor, which saved me time and money not having to deal with it. I cannot say enough good things about Floor Coverings International, Tony Evers, and his crew! I would not hesitate to highly recommend them for any products and/or services they preform."

"Perry was very professional and thoroughly answered all our questions. He sent an estimate within 48 hours, and it was easy to schedule the work with him. The fir floors had black mastic/adhesive from old linoleum that we took off, and it took a lot of sanding to remove it. There was also some damaged wood that was replaced with reclaimed fir, and it blends in with the floor perfectly. We were amazed at the transformation of the floors. We are so happy with the work that we plan to have Reborn refinish our oak floors in the living room and dining room in the near future.
