So I hired him to re-remodel a bathroom shower that developed cracks in the wall tile. Everything I read about him was true. And that “eye for detail” thing? The step-over into the shower is usually made out of a 2x4 piece of wood with tile attached. His 2x4 was made of cement, thus eliminating the possibility of tiles popping off. He made the shampoo cubby of marble with metal edging to match the metal he used to finish off the edges of the wall tile. And his bid was VERY competitive. His proposal was clear and detailed so that we both knew what to expect. But here’s the difference that I appreciated so much.
