"We hired Desborough Construction to do a major kitchen remodel, which included doing a redesign of the dining room so that it now flows freely to/from the kitchen. We also had Desborough Construction install all new exterior doors and install new flooring in our foyer and guest bathroom as part of the project. John worked closely with us from the initial design throughout the entire construction phase. He was easy to work with, and he was instrumental in helping us turn our ideas into reality. John and his team were everything that one could hope for when contracting a project of this size. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, clean and their attention to detail was second to none. We were extremely pleased with every step of the process, and we are incredibly happy with the final result. We have nothing but praise from everyone who has seen the transformation of our kitchen area. We recommend John and his team with the absolute highest regard. They are simply the best! They painted every room, the basement, ordered carpet, and added modern light fixtures, and made our home a showplace. We also used Kramer Custom Remodels for all our landscaping needs, through the years."

"We couldn't be happier with the results. Frank, Steve and Christian are honest, hard workers. Their estimate was reasonable; they showed up when they said they would; and the job was completed by the date they quoted. In addition to the usual replacements in both Bathrooms (vanities, toilets, tile flooring), they also built us a linen closet where there had previously only been some shelves. Cabinets were Amish made-to-order. All light fixtures were replaced. In Utility Room, cabinets were added above Washer/Dryer, new Utility Sink with Amish-built cabinet installed, and a large closet was reframed/doors rehung to our specifications. New luxury vinyl flooring was also added. The workmanship of Frank, Steve and Christian was impeccable. They were always there when they said they would be. If anyone has worked with any of the trades lately, you know how important that is (not to mention hard to find!) After the work was done, our house was left spotless. All three were very friendly and professional. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again. We are VERY satisfied customers."

"We hired HTZ because a friend recommended them. Adam and Lori listened to what we wanted and gave us options to choose from that were within our budget. Their employees were all professional and polite while doing quality work. What stands out most about everyone at HTZ was the communication. "We are satisfied with the end result. <br /> The project took longer than was originally estimated, some of the delays were unavoidable but I felt many were avoidable and maybe Tim took on too many jobs at that time and wasn't able to dedicate the needed resources to complete the job faster. <br /> Some members of Tim's crew were great and we wish we could have had them for the entire job as they took extreme pride in finishing clean and completely.  I felt there were maybe one or two people that wanted to get the job there but were not as thorough as I would have wanted. <br /> The two biggest issues that we had are detailed below: <br /> 1) One drawer pulled was not installed correctly.  When you pulled to open the drawer the right side of the handle would pull away from the cabinet wood about a quarter of an inch.  There was no reason that the handle ever should have been left like that by any handyman.  When I informed Tim about the issue he was very apologetic and agreed it shouldn't have happened, he also had the issue fixed. <br /> 2) The dishwasher was not wired properly and would not operate.  I discovered this problem Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and it was a huge issue because we were hosting Thanksgiving dinner and needed a functional dishwasher.  I personally had to pull out the dishwasher, diagnose and fix the problem.  When I informed Tim of this he again was very apologetic and even though he couldn't fix the problem he did find a way to make up for the oversight and the additional work I had to to personally. <br /> In summary:  I would want the two major issues I had in my project deter anyone from using Tim's Home Improvement.  He has a pretty good team and did good work.  I feel there may be some members of his team that he needs to supervise more carefully and ensure they do a thorough job but the other guys on his crew are great and take great pride in their work.  I also like the fact that he has full time employees and does not sub-contract and he is a very professional and courteous person.  I would hire Tim and his crew again. <br />"
