"There are always surprises when making home repairs. My window had to be adapted to accommodate the AC size and we had to find the circuit for the proper outlet Dick had the supplies he needed to get the job done and made additional adjustments so that I can take out the unit in the winter. The cut-to-order shades were a little narrow and he knew how to adjust the brackets so that they would work. One would think that replacing light bulbs would be at anyone's level of expertise but Dick reminded me that it is best to replace all of the light bulbs so that I don't have to do it again when an older bulb burns out. I would not have thought of that. The remote thermometer needed to be integrated with the inside one and Dick knew just how to do that. The table lamp is old and I didn't know if it could be repaired. I like its construction and was disappointed when it fell apart. Dick knew just how to fix it. I have called on Dick's Fix It for 4 years--both on my current house and the previous one. His problem-solving skills and expertise always amaze me and I know that I can rely on him to resolve anything that he encounters.
