"This is my third project with L & M and over the years their customer service and high quality of work have always exceeded my expectations. From the first moment walking in their door I feel their attention to detail is outstanding. The best thing ever is they listen to me! They are so experienced they understand the difficulties of my old construction and do everything to maintain the integrity of my home. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job."

"Darren and his crew were fantastic.  A professional outfit from the start, they were goal-driven to sell out items in a store-like environment create in our home.  The attention to detail, from display to providing online previews only a few days before we were to have been out of the house, helped concrete his skills at a superb estate sales person, running a great company.  As we said in a different review, we were left trying to find someone who, not only, could conduct an estate sale, but one which was under an extreme time crunch. iStuff Sellers did this with ample professionalism.  This company has earned my utmost respect and admiration, I invite to any future estate seller, call them first let them show you what they can do for you.   <br />"

"This house is a tri-level suburban house built in 1959. The basement consists of a utility room, a bathroom and a large room with two closets. The large room can be used as a den or family room, and all four walls were made of pine paneling. Two of those paneled walls were removed when the basement waterproofing was done. Parts of walls were knocked out in the space between the two adjoining closets and also in the bathroom. In order to rebuild the walls, the crew from Zero Punch List (consisting of the father, his daughter and son and a long-time family friend) had to construct a wooden support structure that only attached to the floor and ceiling and did not punch any holes in the waterproofing system on the walls. After that, they mounted all the materials that go into drywall on top of the wood structure. Finally, they rebuilt the walls in the closets and bathroom. All of this took six days, although they were not necessarily there for eight hours a day. Besides the walls, Mr. Hinden noted when I first met with him that the duct work of the HVAC unit was sagging noticeably from the ceiling of the utility room. I had not noticed it, but they fixed that as well, per contract. Weston Hinden, the father, is extremely personable and wants to go a good job both in terms of construction and in terms of the aesthetics. They are a little less systematic than some contractors. They may show up an hour after they say they will, but that's all right with me. I paid them as they worked and upon request. I paid $3,000 after they'd been there for two days, and then $3,400 after another two days, and finally $3,400 when they were done, but I don't think that Mr. Hinden would have minded if I'd written the first check for a little more or less than $3,000. It all worked out. I found Mr. Hinden extremely easy to get along with and am happy with the result."

"They were really really good. The owner came out to the house and helped us pick the color and then he was very helpful making sure that everything was done really really well. So, he was really good. On top of that, we were not here when they were here. When we walked in the house, everything was just right where it should have been. On top of that, while he was doing the work, he sent us pictures of the progress."

"He drew it and took pics of himself doing it otherwise we wouldn't believe even drew it. It looks like a photograph. We've never seen anything like it. He's amazing. He has also hand drawn pictures of my wedding and of my grand father for his funeral service."

"WOW!! In record time, from design to delivery, a custom made home. Doug was outstanding in making sure that we got what we wanted, even if we were unreasonable. He and his office helped walk us to our dream home. This team is nothing short of REMARKABLE. I am looking forward to having Doug design and build my next home, my kids homes and my getaway home."

FAQs for home staging projects in Richmond, VA

Most homebuyers start their search online, browsing photos of properties. A well-staged home allows potential buyers to visualize themselves living there. Staging can make your home stand out in a competitive market by creating a great first impression both online and during in-person showings. House staging presents potential buyers with a modern look and a neutral design that allows them to imagine their own belongings in the home.

Staging costs are usually covered by either the seller or the real estate agent. Some real estate agencies include professional home staging as part of their services to enhance a property's market appeal and achieve a higher selling price. Other times, the homeowner is motivated to hire a professional stager to maximize their home’s sale price.
