"Great work. We have a large shower with natural stone and were constantly fighting mold despite weekly cleanings. Kevin and Jonathon came in and took care of it all. They were on time and super professional. I had originally been quoted for a color sealant, but they determined that it just wasn't adhering the right way so they changed to the clear sealant. They know what they are doing and know the best product for the job, which ended up being less money. My shower looks great and I'm so happy I went with them. I also had two areas of tile/grout fixed at back and front door and that was extremely well done as well."

"The process took a little longer than I expected but the detail was also better than I expected. My husband and I weren't sure what we were going to do with the brick but after finding Brick Transformers online it looked promising. Harry sent images of several staining options before the project began to get an idea of what direction to take and then he was very careful to ask my opinion at several points in the project to be sure it was looking like I wanted. He also discovered some damage to or chimney and filled in the mortar before proceeding. We have had nothing but raves on the finished work and were completely pleased with the process."

"Good all around. Job 1: I contacted Johann to get an estimate on installing a kitchen backsplash. He responded quickly with a few questions on the job as well as a request for pictures of the installation area. I provided those and was given a very competitive estimate to install the tile. The price he quoted included everything except the tile which meant that the only thing I had to worry about was picking out the tile and getting it home. I needed a professional opinion on the type of tile to install (glass vs stone) and Johann provided a recommendation based on his years of experience and his understanding of what  I wanted to accomplish. Once the tile was selected, I sent him a picture of the tile so that he knew what he'd be working with. A few days later, he called to schedule my job and we agreed on a day/time that worked for us both. <br /> On installation day he looked over the installation area, we agreed on the grout color, and he asked about an old phone outlet that I wanted to get rid of (and he made that happen.)  Then he got down to business.  He finished when he said he would and I now have a beautiful backsplash. <br /> Job 2: While he was here for the backsplash installation I asked Johann to look at the caulk in the second bathroom. He inspected it and pointed out that there were additional issues with the grout in that shower. Both the caulk and the grout had failure points that would ultimately result in a leak. Since I don't use that shower, I was unaware but these were clearly visible when he pointed them out.  He observed also that my kitchen granite needed to be sealed. I wasn't sure about having the kitchen granite done but since he was returning to correct the shower issues, I asked him to quote both. The price he quoted was more than fair, the work was scheduled for a few days later and both jobs were completed expertly. <br /> A+ for professionalism, honesty and skill...and he's a nice guy. <br /> As a side note, I just bought my condo and as I've reached out to contractors for a few jobs I've learned that some don't respond at all (even some on AL), some take a long time to respond, and few (like Johann) respond promptly--which I appreciate. <br />"

"I purchased a Cambria quartz countertop from Old World Stone and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this experience. First, kudos to Jackie who was SO NICE. She will go out of her way for you. Second, the installers are real professionals. They were very nice, knew what they were doing and pointed out something that I didn't think about -- that there was only one way to install the faucet, handle and sprayer on the sink I purchased. "The estimator, Mirek Duda, measured twice (so his guys would only have to cut once), and the installers arrived on time. They were very professional, taking great pains to make my countertops looked perfect. I had asked for the piece cut out for the sink to use as a cutting board, and the guys at New Stone Design agreed. Unfortunately, they forgot the cutting board, and were short one small backsplash piece (of less than 1 sq. ft.). They agreed to return in "a day or two," but I had to wait more than two weeks and four or five follow-up calls for that to occur. Mirek eventually had a new installer bring the cutting board and the backsplash. He arrived exactly as agreed, so all was forgiven. I am very pleased with my new Quartz countertops. The price was right, and the quality is top notch. I would recommend New Stone Design to all in need of new countertops."
