I was unsure what Duraseal stain color to use on my red oak floors, and they took the time to apply different stain options to a small section so I could see the differences. I ended up choosing a 50-50 mix of Dark Walnut and Classic Grey, with three coats of satin polyurethane. My floors are now a milk chocolate color that masks the pink tones of the red oak while still showing the grain of the wood."
