"My roof had sustained damage from recent severe storms in my area. I contacted several roofing companies, through internet searches and some local advertisers. I received a few inspections and multiple estimates, but wasn't satisfied or felt comfortable enough with any of those contractors to hire them do the job. So, I started asking around for referrals from friends and neighbors. My coworker recommended Braswell construction, since she's used their services before and were very pleased. I called right away, spoke to owner Chris Braswell, we setup an appointment and he came out the next day. He assessed the roof, and we both agreed that my entire roof needed immediate replacement. Chris was very professional, he explained all the details clearly for me to understand. Two days later his team were out replacing my roof. They did an excellent job, completed the roof and cleaned up the debris all in the same day. I am totally loving my new roof! it looks amazing, and I'm glad I went with the color shingles Chris suggested based off his experience...since I couldn't make up my mind picking a color. "We would not recommend - the best priced quote is not always the best: <br /> Even though the company says they will cover the Beaufort area, we got the feeling that they preferred not to install windows here  If our property was in the Savannah area, we may have had a different experience. <br /> It was tough getting the office to return our phone calls.  Why so much advertising if your office personnel can?t handle it?? Decrease the advertising budget a bit and hire an additional assistant. <br /> The salesperson is a bit negative, but he does appear to know his stuff.  In April, after getting several other quotes, we choose this company because the price was right and they seemed to understand what we wanted and needed compared to the other quotes. <br /> We scheduled installation for September, and were told to follow-up in late July to ensure our window order goes in (thinking back, red flag - why wouldn?t they have just called me in July?) <br /> Contacted them in late July, and after a few weeks of back and forth run-around, we were told they couldn?t do our windows due to a lawsuit with Home Depot with our HOA.  Our HOA has no knowledge of a lawsuit with Home Depot and Window World never even contacted them.  I'm guessing this was just their story to back out from doing work in our area; we wish they would just not quote and schedule installations if they don't want to do work here.  <br /> This review is based on our experience with service only, and not the actual product. <br />"

"It took a few or so to schedule, partly due to bad weather, but once started they did a very nice job- the gutters look great, and they installed splash guards without our asking.  They are wide and have worked fine even in heavy rains.  Only small complaint is that they didn't check their own work- the roof edge curves inwards along one face, and some of the nails barely made it into the wood. At some point I should climb a ladder and re-nail them properly (this is on a lower roofline; presumably/hopefully the one at 40 ft is fine).  But all have stayed in place and worked fine. If we decide to add more gutters I'll call them again. <br />"

"Newma french doors were installed on time by work crew. The doors look great and are a big improvement over the cheaper french doors that were there previously. The new doors are much more secure and have a really good locking mechanism. The price was a bit steep but I feel safer with the more secure doors; therefore, it was worth the extra money."

"John Robillard and Sam Morlett did a fantastic job remodeling my garage into a home entertainment room. They completely changed the outside on the home so that one couldn't even tell there were ever garage doors there. There are no left over garage squares. Just two new windows and shutters with new siding that looks like the builder built the wall with the home new. Inside they dry walled the inside, made fan and new power outlets. They took off the garage entry door and widen the entry to make it an entrance space just like one into any other room. Also they create larger, safer steps into the new space. Now of course we still have to wood or carpet and paint it. But my family is very happy to have this new space for the kids after downsizing. We knew we would not have it if we did not do it right when we moved in. Sam and John were always on time, flexible and super nice. I would highly re come them for any home improvement job. They just built a brand new deck for one of my very good friends last month too that he absolutely loves. They too are talking about having John and Sam do their garage and built a new garage next to it! <br />"
