We worked with Simply Safer to create a plan that rid our yard of ticks but still allowed our kids to play outside safely without too many chemicals. We use their services for aeration, weed and grub control, and other maintenance throughout the growing season, and our lawn looks great. The service technicians are always thorough and pleasant. They provided instruction about safety relative to pesticide treatment and checked to be certain that the house windows were closed and cars were not parked near the trees being sprayed. The trees are in excellent shape as the result of their care. <br /> Additionally, the Davey arborist recently came to evaluate our trees and shrubs and make recommendations for their care. During our first conversation when he started discussing heated driveways and other projects he was working on, i was worried he was going to be out side of our price range. It turned out his price for the landscape work was reasonable, as well as the quotes for the patio and masonry work. He cares a great deal about his work and the overall outcome. How good the project will look years after it is done. John Harris was always on time and on schedule and finished on budget. I look forward to having him return to replace a porch."

"I began using their service in 2013 and found significant improvement in my lawn quality. It was greener, lusher and coming in <br /> denser. I watered as per the instructions (honestly should have watered more than I did, but it still did well and was a lot better than what I had). <br /> The picture included was taken in May 2014 as I am on the 2nd year of the premium service. The price has gone up, but only reflected a minor increase and did not include the initial introductory offer. I find the price to be reasonable for the five times they visit and the items performed. If I were to buy the store bought stuff for the amount of times I should fertilize the lawn, it equates to roughly half the cost and I'd still have to apply it. This helps save me the step and makes sure it's done correctly by the pros. <br /> Overall I'm quite satisfied with the results and I have become the envy of our street. I have already had neighbors compliment me on my lawn and how it has turned out. <br />"

"Jim carefully measured, assessed and costed out the project. He gave us two options so we could make a decision based on our budget and our strategy. He spent a long time here and was very diligent in ensuring he got it all. It all wilted within a week or two and died within a few weeks. He gave me pointers on how to address it in the future. One year later and we could not see any regrowth of poison ivy which is remarkable because we were infested with it prior to the treatment. We have been able to keep up with the occasional sprout so far. I recommend recommend Jim Byler very very much. He is a man of integrity, works extremely hard to achieve complete eradication of the areas agreed upon, and is very knowledgable about poison ivy and other noxious plants. <br />"

"Jason (owner of Grow & Mow) along with his crew, has <br /> been performing our fall and spring clean up for a few years now and he has <br /> always shown us such incredible customer service and hard work.  This year?s fall clean up we needed some <br /> extra work done regarding the overgrown bushes/brush along our yard.  It was a tricky area with the fact of wanting <br /> a wooded barrier between our yard and our neighbor?s yard and Jason handled it <br /> beautifully.  He was able to sculpt the cut back to allow room for the edging of the new lawn plus used his <br /> talents/knowledge to really keep that privacy factor intact.  He knew what branches to take and what areas <br /> to leave that really showed his landscaping skills.  We were very happy with the results.  He also was able to transfer a large amount of stone from the yard?s play area to the pool area and did so without disturbing <br /> the pool?s already designed layout.  He further had great ideas as to how to use the stone to improve other areas of <br /> the yard as well.  We will definitely continue to use Jason ? he really handles and performs our needs as if they were his <br /> own.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We had Larry from Professional come out to review the work that needed to be done and provide a quote. The quote was higher than any other that we had received, but we were confident in the quality of work that Larry's team would be able to provide, after all, you get what you pay for. What gave us this confidence? The several positive reviews from past customers, the 'A' rating and the knowledge and professionalism that Larry displayed while on site pricing out the job. Larry didn't just walk the property and give us a quote as the other competitors did. He took his time to walk the property with us and explain what he was going to do and why it was important it needed to get done. He went over several options with us and we chose the plan that worked best for us and our lawn. Larry reviewed our lawn on a Saturday and was able to expedite our project and get his crew onsite and working the following Tuesday (that Monday was a holiday). The job only took two days and the old lawn was removed, cleaned, loamed and re-seeded. They trimmed the hedges and shrubs, mulched the shrub/flower beds and tree rings, edged the mulch beds and tree rings and top dressed the other side of our lawn with new seed and loam to fill in the bare spots. Two weeks later I am writing this review. Our new lawn is coming in nicely and our mulch beds look fantastic. There were heavy rains the day that the seed was spread which could have washed some of the seed away, but the crew foreman, Riley (Larry's son), assured us that if the lawn came in spotty, they would come back to spread more. You will see the before and after photos of the condition that the lawn was in before, a couple shots of the lawn a week and a half after the work was done and a couple from today (2 weeks later). I would highly recommend Professional Tree & Landscape to anyone who asked."
