He explained in detail what treatments he was going to put on the lawn. Matthew did a very thorough job making sure he treated all areas of our lawn. Rutland Turf has some very good equipment for their techs to use, and Matt was adept at using the ride-on lawn spreader/sprayer. We're very pleased with his work today! We have a small landscaping project that we'll be contacting Rutland about. After seeing the quality of their work today, we won't hesitate to have them give us a price for another project."

"The staff were extremely knowledgeable an professional. They were polite, prompt and accurate with their assessment. My front lawn had an area approx 10x20 that was torn up by crows digging for grubs. This was especially concerning because my house was on the market for sale and it hurt the curb appeal. Davey tree responded quickly and dug out the damaged area, applied the necessary treatment and explained the process to me. I was very happy with the results, although the crows did continue to dig a bit even after the treatment was applied. Eventually they left it alone and the lawn healed by growing new grass that Davey Tree had seeded for me. I was very happy with the results! <br />"

During our first conversation when he started discussing heated driveways and other projects he was working on, i was worried he was going to be out side of our price range. It turned out his price for the landscape work was reasonable, as well as the quotes for the patio and masonry work. He cares a great deal about his work and the overall outcome. How good the project will look years after it is done. John Harris was always on time and on schedule and finished on budget. I look forward to having him return to replace a porch."

The price has gone up, but only reflected a minor increase and did not include the initial introductory offer. I find the price to be reasonable for the five times they visit and the items performed. If I were to buy the store bought stuff for the amount of times I should fertilize the lawn, it equates to roughly half the cost and I'd still have to apply it. This helps save me the step and makes sure it's done correctly by the pros. <br /> Overall I'm quite satisfied with the results and I have become the envy of our street. "Jim carefully measured, assessed and costed out the project. He gave us two options so we could make a decision based on our budget and our strategy. He spent a long time here and was very diligent in ensuring he got it all. It all wilted within a week or two and died within a few weeks. He gave me pointers on how to address it in the future. One year later and we could not see any regrowth of poison ivy which is remarkable because we were infested with it prior to the treatment. We have been able to keep up with the occasional sprout so far. I recommend recommend Jim Byler very very much. He is a man of integrity, works extremely hard to achieve complete eradication of the areas agreed upon, and is very knowledgable about poison ivy and other noxious plants. <br />"

"Jason (owner of Grow & Mow) along with his crew, has <br /> been performing our fall and spring clean up for a few years now and he has <br /> always shown us such incredible customer service and hard work.  This year?s fall clean up we needed some <br /> extra work done regarding the overgrown bushes/brush along our yard.  It was a tricky area with the fact of wanting <br /> a wooded barrier between our yard and our neighbor?s yard and Jason handled it <br /> beautifully.  He was able to sculpt the cut back to allow room for the edging of the new lawn plus used his <br /> talents/knowledge to really keep that privacy factor intact.  He knew what branches to take and what areas <br /> to leave that really showed his landscaping skills.  We were very happy with the results.  He also was able to transfer a large amount of stone from the yard?s play area to the pool area and did so without disturbing <br /> the pool?s already designed layout.  He further had great ideas as to how to use the stone to improve other areas of <br /> the yard as well.  We will definitely continue to use Jason ? he really handles and performs our needs as if they were his <br /> own.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Josh and his crew were great.  They are very courteous and professional.  Josh responded to my inquiry quickly and was able to come out for an estimate right away.  I was not in a rush, so it was good to work with Josh to schedule the work around the weather to minimize impact to the yard.  He always kept me up to date with the status and phone calls were always returned promptly.  The crane work was very impressive.  Dropped very large trees near house and power lines without a hitch.  Josh and his crew work very quickly and cleaned up well.  I would definitely use J & T Tree Care in the future. <br />"

"Last year toward the end of the season, I was unhappy with the look of my lawn. It had crabgrass and bare spots and had been destroyed in places from crows apparently eating insects under the grass (they do my grub control also). I spoke with the technician and he made an extra effort to make the lawn look better (I appreciate his responsiveness but part of their service plan is keeping on top of problems so that the customer does not have to and he should have been this responsive without my intervention). This year I spoke with the technician again and went back through last years' problems (not the same technician). I had had my lawn seeded and asked not to have the preemergent applied at that time so the grass would grow. He promised to be back in 5 weeks to apply the pre-emergent. He did not do this. I called the company to tell them the lawn was covered in weeds at the end of June. They said they would call within three days and let me know when someone would be out. No call, no service. I "chatted" online today 7/17/2017 and was logged out after being told someone would contact me in three days with my service date. I then called the company, was put on hold for 8 minutes while they tried to get a manager. That was unsuccessful and now the manager is supposed to call me back at some time. I am ready to find a new service company. To their credit, the treatment of my trees has been successful and they look quite good."
