"I giving five stars to a provider I did not hire. I was looking for someone to come out and sand down my quartzite countertop. It had not been sealed for three or four years and there were some stains and some water damage. I had hired someone to come out of few months ago to do the job. He cleaned and polished as best he could, but he could not take care of the damage to the quartzite so he suggested that I contact someone who had the proper tools to sand the countertop. Sam called me shortly after I submitted the request and we went over the details of the scope of the job. After listening to what I wanted to have done, he told me that he really did not want to take the job because sanding the quartzite countertops would probably do more damage to them. So here we have a contractor actually turning down work, being transparent, and providing his honest advice to a homeowner. I don’t know that you can ask for more than that from any contractor."

"My condo has a marble kitchen countertop that was terribly etched and stained. I had several people look at it. One wouldn't even attempt to fix it. Sir Grout's general manager Chrissie looked at it and was confident they could make it look a lot better. While there, she also observed the ceramic tile floors were in desperate need of cleaning and sealing with a painted sealer. The worker who showed up was terrific. The floor looks like new. The countertop was a challenge. Company owner Marc personally came the next day to work on it and when he left it did indeed look like new. These people are a pleasure to work with. From scheduling, to working, to clean up to following up - they are very customer oriented and driven to make sure the customer is happy with the results. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I was so pleased with their work that I hired them to do several things at my residence also. Jamar honed and polished several marble tops we have, he cleaned and re-sealed the shower and polished our kitchen granite countertop. All around, great work, great workers and great experience. "Carolina's Fireplace and Granite Distributors were excellent to work with. Dale is very punctual and knowledgeable. He helped us with all of our initial planning and when we could not find a slab we liked on hand at their yard, he sent us to a granite distributor where we were able to pick our own custom slabs. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The hauled away our old counters and sinks. We were also able to provide our own choice of sink that we bought from a 3rd party. We had shipped to Carolina's Fireplace and Granite and they did the template on site and brought it all the day of installation. Everything went great and we would absolutely use them again."
