"The finished result was impeccable.  I couldn't be happier with how it looks.  The painters also did an excellent cleanup after they finished.  The only problem was a miscommunication between Mr. Hernandez and me. He and I originally agreed that his crew would do the work on August 18.  When nobody showed up, I phoned Mr. Hernandez, who told me he had moved me to August 19, saying he had left me a message to that effect earlier. I could find no such message in my e-mail or on my answering machine.

"It did not work out too well. The schedule it was just horrendous, for example they were scheduled to come at 4:00 on a particular day and about 10 minutes before I get an email saying he wasn't coming because of delays with other clients. That didn't make me real happy. I don't know on the price, I guess it was ok. They did not paint my deck because it had been painted before, and they said they could not do that, so they just power washed it for $279, or whatever the price was. I would not use them again. Do not use them. Scheduling was horrdenous and then once I did get them scheduled they didn't show up, and when they did show up they were late. The work was inferior."

The old wood was replaced by Trex; a modern railing and screen system were installed; and the porch posts wrapped in a white pvc trim. The result is an outstanding modern looking porch/deck. Working with Robert was easy from beginning to end. He understood what we wanted, gave us good ideas and was timely in all communications with us. His team was also excellent in both the construction phase and in cleaning up the significant amount of wood and nails from the demolition of the old decking."
