"Exceptional work! We had Mike design our basement layout, and had a fantastic experience. Not only did we like the results, the contractors we sent the plans to said his design was some of the best they had seen (dimensions, completeness, etc). We opted to have Mike provide 3 initial designs, and paid extra for 3d renderings which were well worth the money to visualize the completed space. Our designs included a closet, exercise area, dining area, bedroom, office, bathroom, family room (with kitchenette), and a TV wall. I have zero regrets, and Mike was easy to work with, turned the designs around per our timeline, and provided all of the drawings needed to bid out the work. I would recommend him to anyone!"

"Heather is a delight to work with and has been the design genius for our new house. i'd gladly give her a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5. She designed the color scheme for the entire house, made a suggestion for backsplash that transformed the kitchen from nice to great, she went with me to choose carpet that is better than I could have ever done myself. She worked wonderfully with the contractors on placement of colors in transition areas and they loved working with her. She figured out how to arrange furniture in a space that is difficult to work with. I cannot recommend her too highly. She creative, smart, very responsive, fun and charming to work with in every way. Our house went from ho hum to fabulous all due to her creative genius. I love working with her and trust her totally. Now I can't wait for another project to do with her."

"2nd project by Paul for our home having redesigned exterior previously. Our neighbor commented recently that a friend visiting asked when the new home was built across the street (our home was actually built in 1981). Paul helped us create an en-suite from our small master bedroom and 3/4 bathroom. He provided a set of buildable/biddable plans that we used to get bids from contractors. His unique blend of having an architect’s understanding of the space coupled with an interior designer’s skill makes for an invaluable combination. He provided at least a dozen 3D models to view and make decisions from. We’ve learned to simply trust his opinions and Paul serves as a useful arbiter when my wife and I have opposing views on a particular detail. When we reached an impasse we’d agree to ask Paul what he thinks. Super nice and easy to work with. Can’t recommend Paul highly enough"

"This is the second time I've hired Vickie to give me interior design ideas and recommendations. I took advantage of an Angie's List Best Deal. She was punctual and professional. She gave me ideas on proper furniture placement in my awkward living room space, color recommendations, tips for furnishing and window treatment ideas for my 3 season porch, all of which I am in the process of implementing. She offered her vast resource knowledge to help implement these improvements and said I could call her at anytime. I appreciate the fact that she does not contact me for followup; rather she gives me some space. "I had inherited these two old, well made, super comfy chairs that I loved but they were just really ugly. I was going to get rid of them, and buy new chairs and after shopping for weeks I realized that I couldn't find anything that was nearly as comfortable and well made that wasn't going to cost just as much money, if not more, than if I just had my old, comfy favorite chairs recovered.  So I found Harriann Upholstery on Angie's List and went to their shop to find fabric and talk about my project.  I knew I was going to be spending a lot of money, and was a little nervous, but Jean, the owner's wife (who runs the shop) was simply wonderful!  She asked my budget, if I had animals (evidently some fabrics are better with animals), and when I found some choices she went through them with me to tell me the pros and cons of each.  The fabric choice we made turned out to be perfect. If you're thinking about having something re-upholstered this is the place to go!  When they delivered the chairs and Bob opened the back door of the truck, I almost started crying.  The chairs were completely transformed.  Every inch and every detail was done to perfection.  This man is an artist - his work is just amazing!  I wish I owned more furnture that I could have him transform into more beautiful pieces.  I would recommend Harriann to anyone who is looking to have a old piece of furniture brought back to life! <br />"

"I hosted a "Wine and Design" event with Melanie and had so much fun. I invited 4 friends, my 2 daughters, and my husband. Melanie quickly showed us how I could make my dining room appear bigger, simply by turning the table. She also helped me with some pointers on easy tricks to open up the space in my bedroom. Lastly, the design project was focused on my basement. Melanie taught us all by rearranging my existing furniture and adding a few decorative pieces, it changed the entire mood of the room and made it way more functional, inviting, and cozy. My friends all benefited from Melanie's help as well. Everyone brought a picture of a troubled area/room of their homes. Melanie gave them each helpful advice on how to change the space. Melanie also gave a talk on current style trends and a quick tutorial on choosing paint. We were about to start a major home remodel and her paint advice was so helpful throughout the entire process of the remodel. My home now feels more congruent and it flows. I cannot say enough about Melanie's expertise. My two daughters constantly quote what they learned from Melanie when it comes to the design of our home. Melanie brings a warmth, fun, and an expert eye for making your home the best version of itself. I loved that I did not feel pressure of needing to purchase new furniture for my home and that she used the pieces we had to make it better. I loved my time with Melanie and highly recommend her."

"My grades say it all. It was a great experience from start to finish. When I called Debbie first time I gave her a few hours notice to get to the property. Her calendar was full but somehow she managed move things around to accommodate my needs. We had 2 appointments. First was initial consultation, then she came over once again and worked for about an hour with our samples (carpet, hw floor, back splash, etc) selecting the right colors. After that we walked through entire house and applied the color ID on every wall and corner so I could later explain to painters what to do. This is by far more complex project then 1 would think. I spent hours on SW color visualizer, went to the store to find out that samples I have chosen look very different on monitor. Debbie made this experience very positive. Money well spent, she is truly worth it. She also offers other services, and recommended some other credible contractors to us."

"OUR REPRESENTATIVE, DAWN, HELPED US TWEAK AN EXTERIOR 4-COLOR SCHEME THAT WE HAD ALREADY SELECTED FOR OUR HOUSE AND GARAGE. WE WEREN'T QUITE HAPPY WITH THE SELECTIONS THAT WE MADE ON OUR OWN, SO WE CALLED THE DESIGN DOCTORS TO COME OUT AND HELP US ADJUST IT. THE RESULT LOOKS GREAT AND WE'RE QUITE HAPPY WITH THE COLOR. IN ADDITION, WE WERE GIVEN A COUPON WHICH GIVES US A DISCOUNT ON PAINTS AT HIRSCHFIELD'S, WHICH HAS MORE THAN MADE UP FOR THE INITIAL $195 THAT WE PAID FOR THE CONSULTATION."
