His estimate for both time and cost was better than the others, and he didn't charge any more (except for things I added) or take longer to work than what he originally said. Ted was here every day Monday-Wed, and finished early on Thursday (maybe Friday, I can't remember). His and his associate's work were exceptional. His advice was always spot-on. Everything was beautifully done -- there's no way the other companies could have matched his work, although they wanted to charge me more and spread the work out over a couple of weeks.
