"At the beginning of our search for remodeling our kitchen countertops, and in looking at the Angie's list of providers, we stopped by Schneider Stone without an appointment to see what they had to offer and look over their showroom.  <br /> We were immediately greeted by June, who gave us lots of attention and information, especially considering we did not have an appointment. Not knowing what we wanted, they gave us a tour of their samples and then a list of granite warehouses we might want to visit to help narrow down the options. <br /> We live almost an hour away, but they were willing to do business with us, gave us an initial quote, and then continued to email and answer any questions we might have. <br /> If we had lived closer, we would definitely have chosen them as our fabricators, due to their attention to detail and willingness to listen to our needs. The decision not to make several 2 hour round trips is on us, and no reflection on their services. <br /> If you are considering renovating, we would definitely suggest stopping by and talking with them. <br />"

Well dealing with James Lambert is like perfect, Perfect is too small of a word. If you have a tile project, he is the only person you should call. The person I first hired through Lowe's, tried to up charge me about 40% after the contract was signed, so I had to find another supplier for the back splash. Well, for me it turned out for the better as I found James and Keystone. James worked his a** off. The house was built in 1910, and the walls are not very straight, even a more challenge for James, but James came to the challenge and made it look just so great and PLUM, LEVEL, and SQUARE. So if you need tile work CALL him at Keystone 513-623-1473. This is a true statement of how I feel about the job James did for my backsplash. SIX STARS"

"Michael Dean was very knowledgeable and helpful, providing pros and cons for various aspects of the choice of countertop and sink. The Countertop Factory workmen arrived exactly on schedule, took out the old counters, disconnected the water and took out the old sink, installed the new sink (bought through them) and put new counters in place with (as advertised) an invisible seam, the perfect color caulk, no damage to surrounding cabinets and walls, all neatly and quickly done.   <br /> We used our own plumber to hook up the new faucet and reconnect the dishwasher and garbage disposal.   <br /> When we (stupidly) scratched the surface a week later, most of the scratch came out easily, but a very faint part did not.  Michael came right over during his lunch hour (from Durham to central Raleigh) with a rotary sander, removed the scratch, and spent 30 minutes carefully sanding out a tiny dark dot beneath the surface (visible after removing the scratch) with feathering technique to ensure an invisible result.  Once again it looks superb.  Michael gave us (gratis) a coarse and a fine pad, not so easy to get at the store, I found.  He recommended buying a small rotary sander, which we now have just in case, and a cleaning product for the occasional shine. He was customer service personified! <br /> We are very happy with every aspect of our experience with The Countertop Factory. <br />"

"Shannon did a great job buffing scratches out of my new acrylic bathtub. He charged $100 and scheduled the time to perform the services. I did not have to take time to meet for a quote and then a return visit. I was dismayed that my new air jet tub by Bain Ultra got scratched up by painters before I had a chance to even use it. I have the same tub at the place I am moving from and in ten years I could hardly find a scratch; I could only find light marks by looking very hard with strong light. The new tub had scratches all over it after the painters put their metal tools in it after removing the protection I provided. There were no deep gauges however. I am posting the only two scratch marks that show in pictures because they are red and dark; the ones with no color do not show up in images since there is no daylight in this bathroom. Shannon went straight to work and had the bathtub looking new again. He followed up by emailing an invoice. I was happy with the pricing, level of service, competence, politeness, convenience, follow through, and results."
