"Val and his crew built an entire addition on the back of my house. Those guys know what they are doing! I could not ask for a better result. The whole thing is built to last, completely to code and exactly what I wanted. When they took down the old addition they found the source of cold air entering along several feet of the back of my house. They repaired it all, and this is the first winter I have not had cold drafts in the kitchen. Val and his crews worked with me during construction because I could not be there. Val was quickly responsive to texts and calls. The guys are awesome. Every day they picked up before they left, and they treated everything respectfully. I also had them install a roof over my deck, and replace the stairs with Trex. They ended up having to build out the front of my deck another foot or so, but they did it to match the existing deck and the whole thing looks great. Val even had a crew to re-point the chimney, and they did a fabulous job. For the first time in 25 years of owning the house, the roof does not leak around the chimney into the garage. I have had others repair it 3 times over the years, but always still had the problem. Val and his guys did an awesome job and I am so glad I called him. I am already planning more for them to do. "We hired Joe to repair and replace the roof of our bookstore which we acquired in 2021 (a Victorian era brick and limestone building, 100+ years old). The roof is a 3000 sq ft flat commercial roof with latex waterproofing which has been patched over the years, but it’s likely been more than 30 years since major repairs were done. In the ensuing years, ice and snow have produced damage, and we saw major leaks by the winter of 2023. This damage was primarily in the boards (under the waterproofing) and ceiling rafters. Where possible, Joe made repairs, but where necessary, he replaced all materials. He added new insulation and new latex waterproofing throughout, He jacked portions of the ceiling rafters and repaired or replaced here as well. It was a huge and difficult job. He did excellent work. We are very happy with his work. As far as we’re concerned, he saved our bookstore."

He was meticulous about the woodwork framing the windows, also. His craftsmanship is very impressive. He was timely and very neat (always cleaned up after a day's work). "Called because the box vents on the above the kitchen sun room (room off kitchen with a vaulted ceiling a separate roof) would leak when strong winds and rain occurred. I called to have them removed since they never served any purpose in venting that roof. They also inspected the rest of the roof and recommended that one vent pipes was in need of repair, and some of the ridge vents were starting to pull up (the nails were rusting). They suggested a better vent system using shingles covering the vent to protect it. Work done quickly and professionally. Shingles matched very well to existing ones.
