"My hot water heater broke down and Rick called me almost immediately after I submitted my request on Home Advisor on a Sunday. Said that he'd be out Monday afternoon, but arrived at my house early mid morning with 2 helpers. Simply outstanding experience! The stairs to my basement were "shaky" and Rick did not feel that they were safe to bring the new water heater in and the old one out. While the two other helpers were busy replacing the water heater, Rick worked the entire time to repair my stairs. And that was definitely needed! When he was almost finished, he was concerned that the repair job may not hold, so while his helpers were finishing the tank replacement, Rick went out and bought some long screws to secure the stair repair job!!! All at no extra charge! Also replaced the cold water input valve to the tank at no extra charge. He charged me what he quoted me upfront. If you need any kind of home repair/contract work done call Rick! Don't mess around and take a chance with your money and time! Great people and companies like this are hard to find. Since I bought a house almost 50 years old I had no idea where the water should come out and why it was backing up. Designs of Akron-Canton came in assessed my problem gave me an idea of what should be done what a great price. The owner Kevan was very professional, and very easy to talk and the quote seemed very reasonable so honestly I just didn’t have the time or patience to keep having people come in, so I just went with them and I’m glad I did. they did a great job and they did the job in a timely manner and best of all they didn’t leave a mess around my house."

"As far as my wife and I are concerned it really did appear that the whole project went without a hitch. The first day was demo day. The job required Matt and his crew to come through our garage, down a hallway and into our bedroom to get to the job. They did all the things necessary to make sure the area was covered and protected from any kind of dirt or damage.. Once they got going there really wasn't a lot of back and forth going for tools and whatnot. Apparently they went back there with most everything they needed shut the door and went to work. When the day was over they cleaned everything up and left. The bathroom was clean, completely usable and ready for the next days installation. Same thing the next day they came in worked all day. And at the end of the day we had our new walk in tub. For us, it really did go that well.. Our condo is built on a slab so the electrical work had to be done through the attic. I went up there to get something after everything was finished and couldn't hardly tell that anybody had even been up there.. I honestly can say that we have no complaints. ACC was here on time, the workers were clean and well mannered. They worked non stop all day, cleaned up afterwards and at the end of the two days we had our new walk-in tub as the only evidence that they had been here. We highly recommend them."

"The person is basically a good worker, but he went on his own and he is not ready for that. He made mistakes that he should not have made. It made him do more work and caused me aggravation. He left damaged tiles on the floor and thought I wouldn't see it, which is silly. He put the wrong toilet then. He did things that were thoughtless, in other words not organized very well. He worked hard and did a nice job of putting in the tiles, but he was not ready to oversee his work. I did make him change the toilet because it was the wrong toilet. I had spent a lot of money on it and it needed to be the right way. He finally saw that and was very upset when I put the stop payment on the check. That was mostly because he did not do the job carefully. The price was competitive."
