"The sales rep Tim was very professional and patient with me. Throughout the sales process he listened to all my concerns and explained the process from beginning to end. I know that I would have problems with wood replacement and tim made sure to make note of that. During the install there was a miscommunication with the crew and that lead to inadequate wood repair in the beginning. At this point I called the project manager Walter and explained the situation to him. Shortly after Walter came to my house with the field manager Mike and they both did a more thorough inspection of the wood repair and we came to the solution that best fit my home. After the wood repair incident everything went very smoothly. The crew worked very hard and did beautiful work after they took care of the newly installed wood. Overall the experience good. There was a problem but the way the company responded was great and I was very happy with the final outcome of the project."

"Only time will tell whether the work permanently fixes the cold air problem that caused my burst pipes, but as of today (the day GMS completed the work) I'm thrilled with GMS's responsiveness, professionalism, and work quality.  Pipes in my basement that routinely froze in cold weather due to poor insulation finally gave way and burst last week.  Plumbers had to come out in the middle of the night to replace the pipes, and in doing so they had to cut into the drywall and ceiling in my basement.  So now I had a basement wall and ceiling with large holes in them, and a wet wall just waiting to grow mold.

GMS was actually the second place I called - the first place told me they were booked and wouldn't be able to come out until the end of February.  That obviously was not an option.  Based on the good reviews, I then tried GMS.  Greg, the owner, was great.  He agreed to come out THE NEXT MORNING at 8:00 a.m. to give me an estimate.  He was right on time and was very professional and honest with the scope of work that needed to be done.  He had some great insight into how to do the insulation differently so that the cold air problem would be solved.  All in all, I was left with the impression that he was the right guy for the job.

He got me a written estimate later that morning, and agreed to start work THAT AFTERNOON.

The whole project took 3 days - first day they knocked down the wet wall and removed all the insulation.  The sealed off the area with plastic and blasted a dehumidifier all night.  Day 2 they insulated and did most of the work installing the new wall.  Day 3 they finished off the wall and left the entire area immaculately clean. 

I wasn't home during the actual work, but Greg provided me daily updates as to progress and always answered my calls and emails.

The wall looks better than ever; and there is now a vent built in to help warm air circulate into the space, and the pipes and the whole space behind the wall are well insulated.  As I said at the top, only time will tell whether this permanently solves the frozen pipe problem.

Bottom line is that Greg was extremely responsive and did high quality work at a reasonable price.  I still can't get over that he was able to start the work the day after I first called him.

"Nombach Home Exteriors is a company that my wife and I would recommend. Although we had a little bit of a rocky start, all worked out well. We initiated contact with the company in August 2021 and spoke with a representative who shortly thereafter left the company. Our initial preliminary estimate was lost in the shuffle; but, when we followed up with the company a week or so later, George Skirha was quick to respond and helped us with our needs. He walked us through the entire project process; and he was professional, thorough, sincere, and accommodating - especially with our endless questions. He was also quick to respond to phone calls and texts. Given the company’s work orders, the weather, and factors due to the pandemic, the work took 4 months to complete. George made us aware of these delays before we signed our contract, so we’d know what to expect. Work started in October with a new chimney cap. Mike and his crew followed. They did a great job with the roof itself, and addressed all issues that presented after the tear off. Jovani and his crew handled the soffits, gutters, downspouts, and minimal siding work well. Jeremy and his team finished the job in February by installing the new attic windows quickly and professionally. Each group went above and beyond to complete the work to our satisfaction. Cleanup was continual and as thorough as possible, given fallen leaves and snow. All crew members were courteous, respectful, and helpful. Since our work was extensive, it was an expensive project. However, the cost was comparable to other roofer estimates. There were no major issues that arose after the tear off; and when all was said and done, we paid no more than the estimate we were given. We had a great experience with Nombach."
