"Hired them to tear down a deck that was built over a 1st floor mudroom as an emergency exit for the tenants upstairs on a multi family property. The deck was settling on top of the roof and began to leak into the mudroom every time it rained because there was no clearance between the wood and the roofing and the water was pooling then falling through to the interior of the house. Skyline construction group demoâ d the entire thing in one day and prepped the new footings for the new deck (previous footings were slabs of wood and not built to code). Day 2, they built the new deck and staircase. Day 3 they finished the railings and inspection. The total cost was 6800 dollars which might be a little more than I was quoted elsewhere... But I ultimately trusted this company over others. They were professionals. Itâ s the little things that add up and make the experience better. Bringing a tablet and a keyboard attachment for paperwork and signing documents electronically. Calling up other employees and putting them on speaker phone for a more accurate quote. Never once trying to turn one job into 10 jobs or pretend the world was exploding and we needed more money to save the day. Just a smooth process beginning to end. Will hire again. "We called ESTABLISHED CONSTRUCTION to replace & reattach several pieces of aluminum siding fascia that were blown off one side of our home during a severe wind storm and to seal up a few areas on the other side of the house where birds were nesting in the eaves. Val gave us a very reasonable estimate which included doing the work right then and there. A few short hours later all the work was complete and done very much to our satisfaction. Fascia has been replaced, the birds are gone. My wife and I both agree Val is very friendly, upfront and honest; not one who promises one result and then doesn't deliver. "My issue was water running down between the exterior and interior wall.  The contractor diagnosed the cause as frost getting in under old roof shingles that needed to be replaced.  Old roof was less than 20 years old and was only one layer deep.  The other part of the issue was poor insulation in the attic.  The recommended solution was to replace the roof on house and install an air vent and blow insulation into the attic.  Replace the roof on the garage was incidental since they were going to be there anyway but was not considered a part of our problem or our solution for the water.     <br /> The steps were: <br /> <ul> <li> - Remove the entire shingled roof and a portion of the plywood that got wet.</li> <li> - Blow insulation into the attic through the opening created by removing the plywood to avoid having to go through the house.</li> <li> - Install new state of the art roof with barrier and shingles.</li> <li> - Replace garage roof</li> <li> - Replace trim around house and garage.</li> <li></li> </ul> faction to heart. Workers showed up on time every day. <br /> All the work went as planned for the insulation, house roof, vent and trim. <br /> The garage roof presented more challenges.  The trim was put on in two pieces, because "they did not have the right trim cutter to use on piece".  Nails were placed all over the trim and looked very unprofessional.  House walk around also showed issues with the finishing touches on the main roof but mostly the garage.  That was a bit frustrating since we only did the garage because they were there anyway, arrugghh. <br /> One call to the Company and our Salesman was back at the house, reviewed our photos and did a walk around as well.  Within one week all the issues were resolved.  I was pleasantly surprised that the issues were addressed so quickly and completely.  Good company that clearly takes customer satisfaction to heart.  I believe that any contractor will have issues with customer expectation compared to work performed.  The real test of a quality contractor is how they mitigate those issues.  Acorn did a very good job in this regard.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for work on their roof or insulation. <br /> <br />"
