I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.

"The quality of Calibers work has never been a problem. They do quality work. Communication, however was a real problem.  I actually ended up cancelling a portion of the work I planned to do because it was taking too long to get back to me on the supplies.  During this period they were working on a DIY show and I think this was creating a backlog in their schedule.  Start to finish:  Contacted in August to being estimate.  Contacted again in December to order supplies to start work.  Many contacts from January to May.  Work started in June and completed 2 1/2 weeks later (quote was 4 days). 
I believe in being fair.  Leonard (the owner) can be great to work with, but I think he's over extended and ends up making promises he cant really keep.  The quality of the work is good and if there is a problem with the work itself, he is proactive in addressing it.  He's also more proactive with the work is actually in progress as opposed to the planning phase.  (Example: Him: " I thought you were ordering the counter top"...Me: "what do I know about ordering countertops?  I would still use them again for certain projects, but not if I had a limited time schedule."

"Tommy and his team did a great job on our chimney! Once it finally stopped raining Tommy and his crew got to work and finished in a reasonable amount of time. Anytime I texted Tommy he would respond answering any questions I had. His work was top notch, rebuilt the crown (which looks bomb proof) and cut out the brick mortar out down to the roof line. Tuck pointed and painted my chimney. Not single drop of water has come in since he finished his work. They cleaned up all materials afterwards too! Really pleased that we hired Tommy Mattingly Masonry, I will be using him again in the future for any of my masonry needs."

"The repairman was great. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The thing I do not like is that I had to wait through the weekend, three full days for service in 90 degree heat."

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
