It went very well.  I had put out bait for a rat that had invaded our house just before Thanksgiving.  The rat took the bait and died, but before dying it crawled into a semi-accessible spot in our basement under a bath tub.  We discovered his approximate location after the critter began to smell badly.  Jose from Gring Pest Control came out the day after I called, right at the scheduled time, located the varmint and removed it quickly and efficiently.  He also provided an effective ingredient for removing the smell, provided good suggestions for dealing with any future problems, and did a quick tour of our house to look for areas where rats could potentially enter our house in the future.  I thought the fee was very reasonable for the service provided.  I would call them again.
