"These gentleman were of amazing service, they were very detail oriented any issues they could find it was like boom letting us know and telling us what should be done. I had a job done at my previous home where another guy did the work and he did things without having our approval. Freddy and his dad will be back to do more work for my home. My husband was so pleased as well they don?t rip people off by sub contracting they and they?re crew are good hands on"

"My neighbor used Abry Brothers a couple years ago and recommended them when I needed some foundation work. Their inspector came out to the house and was polite and very helpful. I appreciated the time he took answering all my questions. I called the office the next day and set an appointment, they came out the following Thurs and did the work. Everyone from start to finish was very polite. Im thankful my neighbor suggested using them. I will definitely do the same thing. Thanks Abry Brothers for making this project at my home a pleasant experience. My husband and I appreciate you all!!!

"We had used these guys in 2007 on the other half of the house. What they did in 2007 hadn't moved at all. We should have done the whole house back then but this process is expensive. Now the other half is stable we can rehang the doors and fill up the cracks."

"The owner came out with a slick device to check relative elevations throughout the house.  In the 65 years since the house was built it was apparent leveling had never been done before.  Unfortunately, whatever work had been done in the past on walls and windows was done with the existing location of the foundation.  Nothing bad, but not perfectly level. The leveling done by Real Deal made doors stick, windows not close, lots of cracking and didn't show any signs of improvement in the feel of the house.  If anything was out of level before something else replaced it.
The man doing the job management wasn't the company owner, but his brother.  He wanted payment made to him...said there were problems cashing checks.  The workers were attentive to the job, but the people not doing the actual work were suspicious.  The paperwork wasn't quite right either.
The workers did the job and left the site in satisfactory condition.
Please note:  Its been 18 months or more since the work was done.  I regret having done the work only because the house seemed to suffer from the work...but not because it was done incorrectly.  They seemed to do what they said they would.  If I had truly serious foundation problems I might give them a call on another project.  Then again, I might take my chances on a company that seemed more professional.

"Services performed were methodical and well done. They definitely seemed to take their time to get the job done right. They hand dug portions, and used the machine on others. Any and all pvc repairs needed were done as part of the original quote. They even helped me install a previously broken clear out cap on the main drain line. Can't beat the price. Definitely recommend."

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Rosston, TX

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
