"It went exceedingly well. Adi was outstanding in his professionalism and service. He arrived on time, diagnosed correctly why the lock was not working on the exterior double door and fixed the issues superbly in his estimated time. I was leaning in favor of putting in a commercial grade lock. He advised me against spending the money since it was unnecessary. Total charge was $259. I was 150% satisfied with his overall service. "I have used Alex on several occasions, but most recently I had two tub surrounds retiled and they look great! Alex tore out the old tile, replaced some sheet rock as needed, replaced the old plumbing for the faucet and shower, and retiled. He provided all materials except the faucets. "requested service since we thought we had a squirrel stuck in the chimney, a technician came the same day to check the chimney, determined that no squirrel or other critter was stuck in the chimney and offered to check the attic as well - no charge for this; we had previous problems with birds and squirrels getting into the chimney and then the fireplace.  we did not have the technician check the attic at this first visit.  the technician informed us that they could screen off the chimney cap to prevent entry by animals and birds.  we immediately scheduled this service for the following week with the technician that checked the chimney.  in the interim we continued to hear scratching in the chimney, on the day of the scheduled service one technician checked the attic for infestation while the other technician began the work on the "exclusion to chimney."  we did not have any critters in the attic, nesting materials were found in the top of the chimney.  we have a two story home and entry to the attic is small.  the technicians were efficient and helpful (even taking down a wasp nest).  this was a pleasant experience and would definitely use this company again.

"I had been looking for companies to help with the lack of energy efficiency in my new house, which is a 1951 Cape Cod.  When my husband and I purchased the house, we were unfamiliar with some of the challenges inherent to a Cape, one of which is the serious loss of heating and air conditioning due to the second (1/2) story being tucked into the roofline.
I tried six times to contact another highly-rated company here on Angie's List, but after a couple of weeks of waiting, moved on to Reach Barrier.  When I called, a real person picked up the phone, and when I said I had questions, she connected me to the president of the company who is right here in Richardson!  Greg walked me through how their product was made (which made me feel really good), as well as how the installation takes place.
The team arrived right on time (early to avoid the heat of the day), and finished faster than I expected.  It is such a clean process -- basically film and staples -- and other than a slight off-gassing (which to my surprise, dissipated after about an hour) and some clunking around in the attic, I hardly knew anyone was working on the house.  Somehow they managed to find access to the roof over my bathroom addition that I thought they wouldn't be able to do.  That was a great surprise.  The team was attractive (shouldn't matter, but I think it makes people feel comfortable), nicely-dressed, and well-spoken.  
When the job was done, the total came to a dramatically different price due to an error on the estimate, so I called the office and they straightened it out with no hassle whatsoever.  You can tell this company is firmly committed to customer support and happiness.  I popped into their office today to purchase DIY kits for our garage doors, and plan to get them out to professionally apply their radiant barrier film on our garage roof very soon.
