"So I used Angie's List to narrow down my 3 main choices for a major exterior home improvement project. I got quotes from the 3, and decided on Make A Choice. It was definitely the 'right' choice. The work was done quickly and professionally. Great care was taken to cause little disturbance to neighbors who are VERY close in proximity to my house. Step 1: Siding: These guys were fast, and I mean fast. They blazed through the demolition of the old siding, vacuum sealed the sides, and put up my new hardy board. Just like that it was done and done right. Then it was painted (well) and the house began to look brand new. Step 2: Soffit: I almost didn't spring for soffit, and that would have been a big mistake. These guys did an amazing job on the soffit which now has the under siding looking amazing!! Most impactful thing I had done. All the neighbors are jealous! Step 3: Porch: I asked for a 'beefier' porch, and that is what I got. Amazing railings and new columns. I had them put a band about a foot down from the top of the columns and they really stand out now. The railing is double thick on the top and they are taller now, and the whole thing is the envy of the neighborhood. I also asked for a 'dental trim' and expected a strip from Home Depot or something. Nope. They custom made it, curved and impactful. Above and beyond. Step 4: Gutters: The gutters they installed go so seamlessly with the soffit that you can barely tell they are there! Beautiful and they put in a complete system where some needed gutters had been left out from the initial house build. The match to the rest of the house is uncanny. Step 5: Door: This they outsourced to a guy who also blew me away with a professional install and removal of my old door. Cleanup was done after each major renovation and at finish and everything was pretty close to "move in" ready. They did destroy a cement fountain, but patched it up so you could hardly tell. (I knew I should have moved that thing out of the way!) The only non-10 out of 10 would be the trim painting on the porch and windows, which got a bit rushed with bad weather, and even that gets a 9-10, with the only little things I could catch being quite 'nit-picky'. Overall, this company delivered in spades on the goods it promised and they were very responsive throughout the whole process. I would 100% use them again without hesitation for any other external house projects!! Priced competitively and delivering results that exceeded my expectations."

Work with Tim as the lead and work through all aspects of the job and contract - Make sure you understand all of it and ask question, this is the time add things like painting the foundation or adding insulation behind the Siding which i did and the house now warmer. Keeping Siding removal and replacement is construction with many decisions you have to make as the job goes. The work Quality was Great they transformed my homes exterior, fixed issues and the folks that did the finish work were the best, the painter Fernando was stellar, he had a great attention to detail that made me aware of some other issues that when brought up were resolved properly with great care. they did such great Work that im looking to work with them again to do my Gutters with then also. they also do Roofing. wish they did other works as well as its hard to find good people like Make a Choice these days ."

"Shannon Franks was a pleasure to work with on the 3 sides of fiber cement siding that Keystone installed on my house. Once the siding was painted the house looks better than when I purchased the house new. Both the crews ( siding and painting ) were extremely knowledgable of their trades and responded quickly to any questions I had."

"Stress Free Roofing did a quality job replacing the roof on my home. I looked at several roofing companies before choosing Stress Free Roofing. They provided the best combination of quality labor, good materials, affordable pricing, and clear and honest communication. I opted for the 3 tab shingles, synthetic underlayment, and ridge vents. Arodi Vela, the owner and CEO, visited my home and performed a thorough examination of the roof. He made time to take measurements, whereas other roofing companies I met with just made a rough guess about the size of the roof. After measuring the roof, he provided a thorough review of the roofing options available and gave me a detailed explanation of each step in the process. He even brought samples of architectural and 3-tab shingles to give me a sense of the product. Before leaving, he even put together a quote for the project. It is worth noting that all of this occurred on the initial visit. After I chose to work with Stress Free Roofing, Arodi set up a time to discuss financing. He clearly explained the pros and cons of each option. He was able to run a credit check and determine what options I qualified for in a matter of minutes. Arodi gave me advance notice of when work would begin and recommended that I leave the driveway empty so that the materials could be dropped off. The materials were delivered on time at 7am. Work began soon after. The crew set up tarps on the ground around the house to catch debris. I found that it was helpful to check in on the crew and make sure that they were following best practices. I did not have any major complaints, but there were a couple instances where I provided feedback or asked questions. The crew was receptive and resolved my concerns. The job was completed in a little over two days. Arodi stopped by on day 3 for a final inspection and took photos of every area of the roof. He thanked me for working with his company and encouraged me to give him a call if I needed anything. Throughout the experience, Arodi provided frequent communication and updates through both phone and email. The workers were friendly, skilled and efficient. Stress Free Roofing definitely lived up to the name."

"The best most professional team of people you will ever meet. Totally happy with our purchase. From William the salesman to Mac the project manager, transparency was the message. The crew arrived on time but the material was delayed resulting in one lost day of five promised to completion. Day two was great. Day three had a hiccup. Wrong color for corner post delivered. Crew had to remove completed work and shifted to the soffit. Derek hustled to correct the problem and assured us completion on Friday. Day four!!! Six crew members on site! Wallace and his team are a siding machine. Everyone worked together and worked to complete the job by the end of the day. One day early. Super clean up. Nothing left behind. Very very friendly people. Price was higher than pinnacle or champion but we definitely got what we paid for. No regrets. Superior company."

"Overall the quality of the work was good. The crew, although shorthanded, were hard workers and did an overall good job of cleaning up each day. The fact that they spliced into my outside AC unit power which caused the AC compressor breaker to pop was disheartening but luckily no one was electrocuted and no damage to my AC unit. The dumpster stayed in my driveway 1 week longer than they said and the extra materials laid beside the driveway for another week after that. The biggest issues were that I was required to check everything the crew did to make sure that they did everything that was on the quote; which they did not. I felt this was something that the Project manager should have done alongside me. The project manager agreed to refund money after I sent him pictures of an item omitted; however, never relayed that to their invoicing/office manager. Although they were good about not asking for any payment upfront, they required payment after each sub-project (siding/painting). The Completion Certificate that I was asked to sign and pay did not match the work that was done; credits and additions. The changes I noted on the Completion Certificate were never relayed back to the office manager. I asked for a final payment amount due after the painting portion of the project was completed which was to include any credits or additions with the hope of avoiding any future discrepancies. They provided me with an updated final total which I paid. I then received a message three weeks later saying I still owed them money. After requesting a detailed invoice, I could see where they did leave off in their original final total one add-on that I had approved and they had not given me credit for the work that was not done. There was no acknowledgment or explanation that they had made a mistake in the final number; just when are you going to pay us. If you do business with Siding Depot, I would request that the project manager (who provided the quote) be there for the inspection of each phase and provide you with an agreed-upon Certificate of Completion for the work actually performed and a detailed invoice of the total amount owed. Their response to my concerns was Thank you for the Feedback. That along with the lack of acknowledgment that they had provided an incorrect final payment amount, was very frustrating. I do not believe the customer should have to manage their invoice process and communication between their staff. Their actions seemed more like a startup company than one that has been around for years."
