"Rick and his Before and After Home Improvement “All-Star Team” provided outstanding professional work in replacing the water damaged posts supporting my deck and the design and work to complete a stamped concrete patio, walkway, and front porch. Our property sits on a hill such that water from our neighbor’s yard drains into our own with some of it settling against our house under the deck. The deck was constructed about 20 years ago with part of the wooden posts buried in the ground. Although the wood was pressure treated, over time, the marshy ground had compromised the integrity of the deck support posts. We had contacted several contractors to request proposed estimates. Some were unresponsive. Others would not fully address our concerns about correcting the water drainage and adding additional concrete to anchor the new deck support posts above ground. Rick was by far, the most responsive. He listened to our concerns and based upon his 45+ years of experience, provided several recommendations for correcting the damaged deck posts and the drainage issues on our property. He gave us a prompt and reasonable estimate. His team went to work right away. We were so pleased with the results that we discussed the idea of the patio and walkway. Again, Rick listened to our ideas and provided excellent recommendations to move us to a beautiful design. Upon contract award, Rick’s team went to work immediately. Rick himself visited the site on a daily basis and communicated with us on the progress. When we suggested some changes, he was very flexible and responsive. "We started out hiring Comprehensive Property Solutions for gutter cleaning. And the job quality and personal interactions with John made us want to hire him for doing our basement remodel. We couldn't be happier with him and his wonderful team. The extent of the job was a total room remodel which included demolition of an old brick hearth, a ceiling that was falling down and old 1970's paneling on the walls. They did all the demo and clean up and then hung new drywall on the walls and ceiling, built in a closet, put up new molding and new lights. Also installed a new heating/air conditioning unit in three of the basement rooms. Along the way he did other side jobs for us such as putting molding around our front porch pillars and hauling junk for us on three occasions. No job seems to big or small for this company. "this was a job to address paint touch-ups and corner posts that had rot at the bottoms on a cedar sided house. efficient, thoughtful, disciplined approach to the proposal. all appointments were kept and punctual. detailed quote provided and all questions answered. was pleased with the time they took for me to understand how and why they quoted the way they did. when the work started, we did a walkthrough and confirmed everything. towards the end, another walkthrough to confirm that they executed the plan to our satisfaction. several small, fair, change orders for some conditions that could not be seen during original quote. on comparison of their proposal quote to others and research on how they wanted to address repairs, it was well supported as the best approach. other's had quoted complete repainting for siding in good condition. they were able to easily color match and focus on repairs to the few areas that needed attention. very happy with the work."
