"My spec home came with carpeted basement stairs that I didn’t care for at the beginning and after nearly three years of wear the builder grade product was looking shabby. The first contractor I discussed changing the surface to hard wood said it could not be done; the second might be able to do the conversion but wasn’t interested in the job. I found H&H Hardwood through Angie’s List and was pleasantly surprised. Mr. Fier responded to my voice mail promptly and arrived at the appointed time to study the project. He was incredibly thorough and clearly discussed alternatives. He promised a detailed proposal in a few days and produced the most detailed project description I’ve encountered in the course of many remodeling projects. After reaching an agreement and establishing a schedule, Dan and his crew arrived promptly each day, tackled the carpet removal, tread modifications and structural improvements in an organized, professional manner. The existing shop built stairs were refaced with ½” red oak and the finished project exceeds expectations. It would be difficult to find evidence that these steps were not constructed with hard wood at the initial build. After a good discussion I decided to have the stairs finished with Rubio Monocoat versus the more traditional stain covered by multiple layers of polyurethane. The penetrating Monocoat offers easier touchups and a much shorter application/curing time versus urethane. Dan made every effort to match the engineered hardwood flooring covering my main floor and the stain match is excellent. In short I am very pleased to recommend H&H Hardwood of Front Royal, VA for your hardwood needs. In this era where customer service is so often a forgotten skill, it was wonderful to deal with a pleasant person who clearly knows his business, arrives on time, leaves the premises spotless after every workday and provides an excellent product."

"District Floor Depot offered a large variety of products at reasonable prices. We were very pleased with the repair work done to the existing subfloor, the sanding/staining of the stairs, and the installation of the new engineered hardwood floor. The process was explained in detail and the work was completed ahead of schedule. The installation crew was courteous and professional. All debris was removed, surfaces dusted, and thoroughly vacuumed at the end of the project. The customer support team was friendly, communicative, flexible, and responded quickly to all inquiries."

"This team is wonderful! Jodi and Mike are simply lovely to work with, and their installation team was fast, clean and approachable. If we ever needed more wood floor work completed, we would definitely call here!"

"We had both carpet and hard wood flooring replaced with all hardwood floors throughout the entire house. We also had the stairs and balustrade replaced. The team did a remarkable job. The quality of workmanship was exceptional and the cost very reasonable. We highly recommend Jason and his team."

"We had existing flooring sanded and refinished. Unfinished wood was installed in two additional rooms. All flooring finished the same. Work was done in a timely fashion. Communication was great. Would recommend them in the future."

"I wish I could hire this company for all my needs. The Owner Aaron was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable from day one. He gave suggestions and recommendations to help complete the project. His crew came on time, and were very courteous of my home and furniture. Paying the bill was easy and we couldn’t be happier. My floor is simply beautiful. I have referred this company to our family and friends already. I am going to be using them to replace my carpet right after the holiday. I highly recommend using this company for all your flooring needs. You will not be disappointed."

"We solicited several estimates within the Leesburg area to have our first level hardwood floors refinished.    We were under a very tight deadline as we had just purchased our home and had to coordinate between painters, movers and, hardwood floor refinishers prior to moving our furniture into our new home.   Larry assured us he could accomodate our schedule and make sure we were able to move on schedule.    Larry and his crew worked over multiple days to sand, stain,  and finish our floors.  Larry and his crew were also able to remove tiles in our powder room and install new hardwood flooring to match our adjoining flooring in the foyer.  His crew worked long hours to accomodate our schedule and get done in time.    Larry was able to set our expectations up front, and exceed them with his finished product.  Our old pre-finished hardwood floors now look like we had new custom hardwood floors installed and our you can not see the transtition into the new powder room where new flooring was installed.  When it came time for the stain,  Larry's crew showed us stain and helped us to match our existing floors on the staircase.   Larry also graciously offered to  return if our movers accidently scratched our new floors.   Bottom line is Larry and his crew will do what they say they are going to do at a fair price, and do their best to work within your schedule.   I would use Larry Morris Floor Srvcs again in a heart beat and highly recommend Larry and his crew for any refinishishing/installation job you may have.   A++"
