"The quote process went well. Carlos is very knowledgeable about the trees and processes. The quoted cost was much 50%than other Arborists (which is different than a tree trimmer). When I asked why the price was high, The response was "I am offering a premium pruning, which consist of raising canopies, interior thinning, reduce away from home, balancing trees, deadwood, mistletoe and broken limbs removed, most importantly the Selective Pruning on the higher parts of tree that is strongly recommend." Based on this response, I hired them to do the job. They did a good job of installing the tree brace and cable system. They also did a nice job of pruning the Live Oak. However, the other 2 trees were given a very minimal trimming. Asked for them to return and complete the "Premium", They came back the next day and did the job completely. The trees now look great. In summary, they are capable, quick, knowledgeable and expensive, and may under-prune unless you are very clear on your instructions."

"A bad storm knocked a 15 foot limb from my tree onto my power line. I called Andy's Tree Service on a Saturday. Tony answered the phone; told me they were working an emergency but based on my circumstances, he'd be there later in the day. By the time they arrived Oncor had removed the limb from the power line. Tony and his partner cut the limb and removed it to the street. He then gave me a very reasonable estimate to cut down the tree and returned the following Monday. A 40 ft tree was down in about 3 hours. Everyone was very professional, courteous and prompt. I am very, very pleased with the work done and the manner in which everything was accomplished. We have many mature trees that require frequent trimming. There are Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Crape Myrtles, Elms, Yaupon, and Japanese Maple. Over the years I have used several tree services, with mixed results.

I heard about S&P from neighbors who were very pleased with their work. I requested an estimate. Jesse came the next day. I was very impressed with his professional manner and the courtesy he showed me. The estimate was fair so we made an agreement.

The work was completed easily in one day with a large crew. Jesse was available throughout the day to make sure the work was being done to my satisfaction. The crew showed the same degree of professionalism and courtesy as I had seen from Jesse.

"As usual, Mr. Sosa and his team did a wonderful job for us. We had over 10 diseased trees removed from our property, all over 30ft high. Additionally, we had a major tree trimming job performed on the rest of the mature growth trees on our multiple acre property which had not been properly maintained for one, maybe two, decades.
