"David arrived on time on Wednesday morning to give me an estimate of the cost of repair. He took a look at the damage and inspected a second chimney which had not been covered and we agreed on a price. He started work that day and removed several rows of loose brick from the top of the damaged chimney (the chimney had been overly tall) and fixed the flu pipe which had been dislodged when the old cap was knocked off. He ordered two new caps and returned on Friday morning to install them. He installed water collars around the flue pipes to prevent any water leakage, and installed a missing pipe cap on one flue. I was extremely pleased with his work!! David is very professional, punctual, and communicates very well. I will definitely hire him again if the need arises."

"It was tough scheduling due to busy schedules, but Kelly was as accommodating as he could be and even made a day-of attempt to stop by before we left for vacation (but it didn't work out due to a delay on my part).  We set the app't for 9a 12/4 and he arrived just before 9a.  Great demeanor and offered affordable non-chemical solution to creosote removal.  He showed me the tools used and said chimney "cleaned up good".  We purchased ACS to spray on logs during usage, hope this assists with limiting future build-up. <br />"

"Rudy and his crew did my whole house with stucco and stone back in 2011. They work was superb! I called a few months ago for some help with some winter damage. I have called, texted, and email several times over the last few months and received no return contact. The last reviews for Rudy were in 2015 that also criticized his lack of response. I believe at this point that Sun Valley Stucco and Stone and Rudy Avelar are out of business. Probably should remove him from Angie's List. I'm going with Affordable. "I found Brent on Angies list and called him. He returned my call promptly, went to my place and got back with an estimate within 24 hours. The work was scheduled for the next week but due to weather conditions, was delayed a few weeks. Overall job was satisfactory and would not hesitate to use him again."

"Wow! Much better than I could have anticipated. Day one the crew came and tore off the existing shingles and prepped the roof for the shingles. There was a lot of work done at this stage and our home was waterproofed had it rained, which I appreciated. Prior to this, a dumpster was placed to the side of our home so as to not block the entrance to our garage. This was really nice of them but it made them have to walk further! Day two the shingles were delivered, and on day three the crew returned and the job was finished in hours. The GAF system that J & N uses is a superior system and it makes my shingling job of 24 years ago on our home pale by comparison. A competitor of J & N's gave me a bid about the same price but only after asking what other bids were. His is the most reviewed company on Angie's list. The bid Norm gave me and the final price would have been the same, but Norm installed ridgevents and removed the roof vents and patched the roof vent holes at my request and also because Norm felt the ridgeventing is better than roof vents. Clean up was very thorough all days. No flat tires or nails found. A couple of neighbors did their shingles at the same time and I have to say in my biased point of view that ours is by far the best looking roof of all. I found it easiest to text Norm to contact him and he was good about returning texts. I would use his company again but I expect this roof to last longer than me at my age of 63! Thanks guys!"
