"We’ve worked with 6 contractors to complete various large-scale projects at our house in the last several years. Romero Landscape has been the easiest, most reliable, and overall the best to work with. Working from a plan our landscape architect designed, Paulino’s crew renovated our backyard, including excavating a large part of our two-tiered yard, building boulder retainer walls with guillotine stone steps, building a belgard sitting wall off our deck, setting pool coping, and laying over 1300 square feet of pavers. Here are a few reasons why I’d recommend Paulino for your landscaping job. I won’t even include the fact that his bid was considerably less than competitors. His bid came in $20k less than 2 other bids for similar work. I also won’t include the fact that his crew was busting *** from 8-6 every day and even made an after hours trip to my house to ensure another company could work on my pool that same week. Actually, it is worth noting that Romero has consistently delivered on timeliness. I’ve been coordinating work with multiple companies and Paulino has been the only consistent one. Paulino is a good general manager and oversees different aspects of his business in a timely and effective way. This goes a long way when working with contractors who pretty much are the worst in my experience. When he says he’ll show up, he does. He holds all the different components and details of the job in his head and communicates them with his people. Romero’s craftsmanship is pretty stellar. They’re really good. They give care and attention to all aspects of the job. The details they attended to made the final product really good in my experience. They problem-solve intelligently. I’m amazed at how many contractors either are incapable of or refuse to tackle “problems” that arise, particularly when those “problems” call for different strategies or tactics from their norm. Paulino’s guys were so smart about the work they completed, and when there were issues implementing the details of our landscaper’s plan, Paulino communicated the logistical challenges, put together alternative approaches, gave us his expert advice, and listened to what we wanted in the end. (We generally followed his advice because he knew what he was talking about.) They go above and beyond. Always felt like he was working for and listening to me. He did a few extra things that weren’t part of the bid at no charge. This stands in stark contrast to others I’ve worked with who nickel and dime you for little thing. Great experience working with these guys. Highest recommendation."

"I wanted to take this opportunity to leave a review for the landscaping work Good Samaritan Landscaping performed at my home. I had full landscaping installed, from irrigation, topsoil and ground leveling, concrete, fencing, rock, sod, and some extras. The results of their work have made my forever home beautiful, beyond my expectations. I contacted them through the site and received a phone call the next morning. Leslie and Fred were quick to arrive at my home, talk about my needs and wants, and were compassionate to some constraints I was under. I had an idea of what I wanted and spoke with both Leslie and Fred about my needs and wants. They were quickly able to take my ideas and formulate a plan. I was placed into their schedule as quickly as they were able accommodate me, with other jobs they currently were involved in. Fred’s crew arrived a couple of weeks later with his equipment and began the large task of creating a yard and landscape from plain dirt. His crew worked carefully around my home, expertly avoiding the marked utilities, and the irrigation system was completed in days. Topsoil was brought in to level and properly grade the yard, which was done to Fred’s expert eye and satisfaction. Concrete curbing was then installed beautifully. Next was rock in the perimeter of the property and around the house. Fred and Leslie both looked hard for the type and color rock I had wanted. I was pleasantly surprised with stone that exceeded my expectations for color and beauty. The extra effort they took on this part of the job really sets my house apart from all others, I could not be more pleased. When sod arrived and went down, Fred was personally involved to make sure it was laid with expertise and care. The results of his work are outstanding. Fred and Leslie both are honest, genuine, and put their extra touch into their work. "I had winter spring come to my house did not know how many problems I had! They tackled them all, it was a big job! I was so pleased with there work! They were at my house all day, replacing sprinklers, 2 broken pipes had to reroutes some sprinkler's! They were at my house all day! So pleased with them! Great guys! "We received an estimate in July to redo our landscaping and after reviewing our estimates we and reading reviews we chose to use Earthworks. As far as a landscaping company you hear horror stories of people not showing up or finishing. What I can tell you is that once Earthworks gets there (and we LOVED CURTIS) they finish the job. We even added a few things and they stayed to finish those things as well. Communication with Curtis every day was very easy he was the foreman on our job and they were at our house for a couple of weeks of course we cannot take that much time off of work so he was easy to talk to throughout the day. My neighbors ALWAYS said how hard they were working each day. "We were in a difficult spot & a less reputable company could have taken advantage of the situation. Salt Lake City called notifying us of continuously flowing water and a very sharp increase in our water bill. We needed to shut off the main water line immediately. After the City came out, we looked on Angi and found "Low Price Landscaping & Sprinkler." They came quickly, assessed the situation, provided a price that lived up to their name, and started work immediately. They kept us informed of what they were doing and why.
