"Matt and his team did an exceptional job with our challenging interior paint job—the tongue and groove paneling (walls and ceiling) of our cabin's master bedroom, including a vaulted ceiling. We also asked them to apply a java gel stain to a high ceiling beam and the pitched ceiling of our master bathroom. We couldn't have been happier with the results. Absolute perfection. Matt is professional, timely, and a great communicator. We really appreciated the photos he sent when the project was finished. He had competitive pricing, also. We are so glad we invested in hiring this project out--in the past we've done nearly all interior paint jobs ourselves, but it would have taken us so much time, scaffolding rental, and we wouldn't have done nearly as good a job. "I would not recommend this company. The crew arrived late, did not work efficiently, and left an hour early. There was also a lot of time spent walking around without actually working. My project specifically involved large weed removal, which was agreed upon in advance. However, partway through the job, I was told they couldn't complete that portion because there wasn’t room in the trailer—despite there being available space in both the trailer and the back of the truck, especially if tarps had been used. Instead, the team shifted to removing small weeds (which I didn’t need), stating they had to fill the 8 hours per Eric, the owner. Our contract clearly outlined 8 hours of labor, and the $250 trailer fee for removal was supposed to be separate from that work time. Despite this, the crew left early, saying they needed time to drop off the trailer. I reached out to Eric three times and requested that the team return to complete the job as agreed or to issue a partial refund. He has not responded. (Ironically, he was very responsive when securing the job—something echoed in other reviews.)"

"I requested a tree removal, the response was to provide a quote based on my unexperienced visual estimation. There was good communication up until the day they were supposed to show up. The day we agreed to do the work there was little to no communication (despite my messages) with no updates on what is going on. I asked the following day to see what the plan was (gave them the benefit of the doubt, things happen); the response was "I showed up yesterday and the tree was bigger then we expected, we want 3X the price we quoted". 1. If you are going to quote site unseen you should hold up to your commitment. I didn't force you to quote without coming out to look at the tree, I provided my best guess on size (its not a 90' or even a 40' tree). 2. If you show up to look at my property, come talk to me and discuss your concerns. 3. Expect a honest review of your (un)professionalism"

"That was the worse service we ever got in years. The quality of partially done work is absolutely awful (anyone can come and see for yourself). The garage floor ended up bumpy (uneven), rough (like course sand paper) and blemished. The job was quite quite messy all around including screwing up our driveway with painting material. There was a promise to redo (fix) all that work, cleaning up the driveway..., but State Performance Inc. just disappeared (stopped to respond). Be aware!"
