We have many mature trees that require frequent trimming. There are Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Crape Myrtles, Elms, Yaupon, and Japanese Maple. Over the years I have used several tree services, with mixed results.

I heard about S&P from neighbors who were very pleased with their work. I requested an estimate. Jesse came the next day. I was very impressed with his professional manner and the courtesy he showed me. The estimate was fair so we made an agreement.

The work was completed easily in one day with a large crew. Jesse was available throughout the day to make sure the work was being done to my satisfaction. The crew showed the same degree of professionalism and courtesy as I had seen from Jesse.

After the trimming, all the debris was removed carefully.

"Shane came out the day after my call, walked my yard and gave me an estimate on the work I requested plus a recommendation on future pruning work. I had specifically asked to have two small trees removed and for help ensuring two specimen Live Oak trees were well cared for. "I have used this company before with total satisfaction.  This time the work was done as requested but there were delays in the work and several times the workers did not come on the appointment day.  This required a lengthy follow-up period to what I thought would be a one day job.  The company owner responded by throwing in extra work for the same price.  The work was done properly and to my satisfaction.  Clean up was a little short of expectation but we are talking about a few drink bottles and small tree twigs, etc. out of 2 truck loads of vines, tree limbs, a removed tree, and dead shrubbery.  All in all, I am happy and have scheduled for a winter tree trim.  This problem had not happened in 2 previous visits.  I am not an expert but their knowledge of trees and shrubs seems to be  good and professional.  Be firm about appointment times and finish date.

"The crew arrived on time and performed all the necessary work to trim a large oak tree, pecan tree and 2 others around the house. They were fast, efficient, professional and cleaned up when the job was done. I only knew the crew had been to the house because the trees had been trimmed. "Mike was great. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but Mike helped put it all together. Removed tired hodge-podge of nandina, holly, boxwood, roses, yaupon, etc. from all around the house. Sculptured new beds in front, sides, and back with stone edging and planted drought tolerant, lower maintenance, "southwest" type plantings, complete with mulch and decorative river rock. Also built a large flagstone patio edged with Oklahoma chop stone under a large oak tree behind house for outdoor entertainment. Added soil and new sod to raise low area in backyard.
