"My sewer is clear and my drains are unclogged! These guys were great and really went above and beyond to take care of our messy situation."

"They dug out the existing sewer cleanout box and backfilled it. They dug holes at either end of the sewer line, removed the existing sewer pipe and installed a new single piece pipe. The digging and replacement only took half a day of work. Another day was taken to get the county inspector to review the work and because this didn't happen until late Friday afternoon, they did not backfill the last two holes until Monday. They installed two new sewer cleanout boxes at either end of the pipe, 1 for the county connection and 1 near the house. The grass in the backyard got mushed up because the ground was muddy, but it wasn't in great shape to start with after the effect of the drought the past few years. This kind of work is nothing you can look at and admire, but the peace of mind is priceless and I was very happy that the work was done so quickly and without the need to dig a trench across the whole yard. We have a freestanding metal gate around an area of the yard that we use to let our indoor cat go outside and each time the workers left they ensured the gate was in place and the open holes were covered with plywood so that the cat could still go outside in the evenings and over the weekend until the project was completed. I am a happy customer, I would use them again for other plumbing work if needed."

"They were very professional. The first guy cleared the backup clog that was caused by an improperly installed clean out that collapsed partially. Darren came out and ran the camera finding the collapsed clean out. It was within a foot of the County clean out and everyone thought it was the Counties. The County came out and said theirs was fine. Darren came back out and identified the additional clean out as something someone (county workers) had installed illegally when the regular clean out was installed. Long story but two houses connected to the main with no clean out. In 2003 the County separated the lines and added clean outs. Obviously the crew conned someone into adding the illegal one off the books but cannot be proved.  <br /> Trenchless repaired the faulty clean out ie took it out and added one where it should be. <br /> 9112 <br />"

"The house had been smelling of sewage, but the usual evidence of a sewer blockage wasn’t there, so I didn’t call my regular rooter company. I knew the sewer ran underneath the side of the building that smelled the worst, so I assumed it might be leaking. After much research I decided to try using John’s Plumbing and Sewer Service. The smell was the only symptom I could describe when I called. John said he couldn’t get to me till the next day, but he would come by later that afternoon to assess the job and give me a price. He arrived exactly when he said he would - carrying a copy of the property’s sewer plans from our local sanitary district. I was impressed. There is almost no access under my house, so we walked around outside to where the smell was strongest. John and his associate Brandon immediately determined the location of the problem by sniffing through the crawlspace vents till they found the worst one. They very carefully removed that vent and shined a flashlight in at - leaking bathroom plumbing. John gave me a bid on the spot, instructions as to what not to do till he and his crew arrived the next day, and arranged the time at my convenience. The access to the crawlspace nearest the bathroom is a small floor panel in the master bedroom closet. When the guys arrived (on time!), they carefully laid new canvas tarps along all the carpeted areas they’d be walking over. Brandon went “under” to assess the extent of the problem. In no time he had determined which pipes needed to be replaced. John sent Paul for the parts while Brandon dismantled the damaged pipe assembly under the bathroom. New parts arrived, Brandon installed, and the pipes were tested for leaks. Because the toilets in the house were sluggish, John was concerned that something may have been causing pressure to build-up in the sewer pipe below. He decided to break out the video camera to make sure the line was clear to the street. Turned out it wasn’t. I’d had a guest for 4 months who had been flushing baby-wipes (!) down the toilet. That had required a visit from my regular rooter guy a few months earlier, but the camera revealed there was still a huge plug of baby-wipes about 10’ downline from the bathroom repairs. Because of the zero clearance under the house, the guys figured out a way to run the roto-rooter line through the siding vent into the sewer line under the bathroom. They cleared the line all the way to the street. Everything was tested again. Water ran freely. Toilets flushed fine. No leaks. John arranged to have Brandon come back in the morning – again at my convenience - to disinfect the contaminated basement area. He arrived exactly on time, did the work, picked up the tarps, put the panel back in the floor and left. You would never have known there had been any workmen there at all. I can’t say enough good about John’s Plumbing and Sewer Service. John Gleason is honest and forthright about cost and what the work will entail. He and his guys are reliable, respectful, resourceful, and just plain good. I’ve had them back for several other small jobs, and the company continues to be the best plumbing experience I’ve ever had!"
