"My experience with them was really superb. The owner is terrific he came out personally and explained the products, came out a couple of times when the workers were here. The workers were great, in fact I have some cards for them, where I may have posted them later. They did an excellent concrete work. So they both, did a concrete extension and then they put up the overhead enclosure with a ceiling fan. So anyway we were really pleased, very good customer service, very good attentiveness with a good pricing, I felt very good about the whole thing."

"Glen and his crew did an amazing job!!! They were very professional and willing to put in the extra effort to make sure we were happy with our kitchen. We had some unexpected issues arise and Glen was able to really give us peace of mind. He and his crew adjusted schedules, stayed extra hours, and really went the extra distance to make sure they got everything completed to our liking. They did an outstanding job and we will absolutely be working with them again."

"Right from the start we were impressed with the way Tony the salesman, listened to our ideas and drew a plan to incorporate them all.  Before construction, the designer, ( I think his name was Jason) came out to make sure the plans were functional, and had some additional great ideas for placement of columns, color, etc.  He took a lot of time to make sure we were happy with the design.  Next came the permit process which they handled quickly.  Installers were friendly, nice guys, hard working, and a joy to have doing the project.  We had two problems upon completion which were both resolved satisfactorily by the company, although it took a couple calls and return visits.  The first problem was having the inspector sign off on the completion, as the structure was not correctly "bonded" to the electrical pool equipment.  The first and second electrical bonds were not approved, but the inspector approved the third bonding.  There were also 5 rafters that had been split during the installation of the brackets which support the beam supporting the cover.  Two different installers came out before the repair was completed, but at the end, all was done well.  We would definitely recommend them (We had six other estimates, but Clark Wagaman Designs was the best firm for listening to our ideas, and making them a reality.  They truly do "design" as well as build. <br />"

"If you are looking for patio or deck work, stopand don't look no further. Deome 2 Builders and their crew are absolutely best at why they do. From start when Harley came to see our back yard and give us an estimate till the last day. They know their business and best at it. Crew came in every morning on time and very polite. Harley, Fred, Brad and the rest are extremely knowledgeable at what they do. They finished my project in 8 days and I couldn't be more happier. We definitely need more contractors like "Deome 2 Builders" in this world. I will definitely recommend them to everyone and if I need any future deck or patio work, I know who to call without a doubt. Shawn Citrus Heights, CA. March 2017"

"I have to say this was on the most rewarding and hassle free  project that I have been involved with. First of all the contractor was working with a very tight window as this was a surprised gift for my parents. They started extremely early so the job would be completed and dried in the window they had to work with. They explained every step of the way. The results are amazing, My parents and neighbors are totally amazed and are extremely pleased with the out come . The crew cleaned up and left the project  in immaculate shape. I would and have recommended this provided to friends and anyone that is looking for this type of  service <br />"

"When we purchased our house, it had an existing patio cover. We had the backyard remodeled and always wanted to add on to our existing cover. I called Creative Patio for an estimate and could not believe the price so we signed the paperwork that day and had them come out and install the patio cover. Our installers were Serge and Daniel, they arrived on time, and they were done before I got home from work. I had three electrical outlets installed and a ceiling fan. They did a perfect job. <br /> I had purchased to Coolaroo Patio screens for them to install but since I was not home, they didn't know where I wanted them. I called the office and they said it wouldn't be a problem to have someone swing by when I was home so they could install the shades. I happen to be working from home on 05/02/14 so Carlos and Alex came by and installed the sun shades. I absolutelylove my new patio cover, my only regret is that we waited to so long to have it done. <br /> If you're thinking of having a patio cover installed, I highly recommend Creative Patio Works. <br />"

"We started looking at windows in Spring of 2017 but after getting a couple of quotes that were all over the place and getting weekly phone calls from a large window & door company in Rancho Cordova we were done dealing with it & just decided to put the windows off for another time and work on our yard. The following Spring we were ready to look again and brought out the info from the year before & we liked the options that Southgate Glass had and that the salesman was flexible in sending us quotes when we just was going to do the door and he suggested we come into the showroom. We liked that we could visit a showroom to have a better idea how the windows looked and how they worked. This ended up backfiring on us in the end as we had someone who wasn't our salesperson show me our slider with a feature that I really liked and told my husband about. We came in together to finalize our order and I told our salesperson I wanted our slider to have the same features with the special lock & the ability to keep the slider open a few inches and still be locked. I had no idea what it was called and was assured that would be the door we would get. The order has mostly terms that the industry uses so I took his word. We were fine with the wait to get the windows as they are made custom. (6 weeks) What I wasn't fine with was the person who was getting the building permits (& they charged us extra for to do) and waited til the last minute to do and Placer County was being unusually slow and it almost derailed our install date. Here answer was this is how we always do it once the windows are received. I had scheduled time off work to be there and neither I nor my husband would be able to get any time off the following week. The install we knew would be a full day & the installers were on time. The slider had been installed and I looked and realized it wasn't the door we wanted. I got on the phone with our salesman who said he would reorder. I asked doesn't anyone verify what you were sent against the order? He said they never had before, so I end up being the one with the wrong door sent out. He said it could take up to 6 weeks again. In the meantime I got an email asking to review their company & I replied once the issue with my door is handled. (You'd think someone would monitor responses on those types of email) I waited til the 6 week point & emailed the salesman as to the door status. He called me instead of replying to the email and he had no idea what I meant. I should have asked for a written confirmation from what was promised on the call. The replacement door was received quicker than 6 weeks and the install date was a bit tricky to schedule. We had a different installer who was very thorough and paid attention to detail while placing the new panel & repairing the issues with the inside trim on the windows. (All of them were peeling off & he had to replace 3 out of the 4 ) That might be a training issue with the newer installers/helpers not wiping the dust completely before setting the trim. He started showing me the locking mechanism and I asked where's the piece that allows the door to stay open? I sent an email to the salesman as I found out after reviewing Milgard's website it's called a Smart-Bolt. I told him I wish I had been never shown that feature and we would've never had these issues. I'm just disappointed in the whole process and time and effort this has taken to not really have what we wanted. I sent that August 31 and never heard any response."

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Rumsey, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
