The owners Tom and Mike came to my house identified the issues and had a crew here the next day. I cant recommend this company enough. I was loosing sleep with water coming into my basement. "Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

She also followed up by email to see if we had any questions and was very transparent on the extra cost of having to replace some of the decking. "I had them completely the siding and roof on the backside of my house, which included a very tall/high chimney. They also touched up other trim work around the house and painted everything to match my existing trim. They really did a great job. The workmanship was great, the follow - up and customer services was superior. I will definitely use them again They really are the best company I’ve dealt with in years! Our CertainTeed siding and roof looks amazing and we even had a few compliments from the neighbors! Excellent work, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Did you ever hire a contractor and wish they could complete ALL the work on your house because of the integrity of the company, the quality and pride of workmanship, the attention to detail, and the excellent overall customer experience? This was the case when we hired Solid State Construction to completely replace all the roofing on our 1875 home, install a new gutter system properly and design and build a stunning new front porch! The Solid State workers arrived early, stayed late and endured wind and freezing temperatures throughout the winter months to complete the projects! I highly recommend this company and team of workers to complete all your exterior construction!"

"The workmanship was quick, careful, & highly professional. However, communication issues arose prior to the final installation which troubled us. We found a message on our phone message mid-day prior to the scheduled installation from someone who identified himself as the installer that they wanted to come earlier than scheduled, but the number for call-back was unintelligible, I called Yankee & left a message that they should tell the installers to come any time that day but a later call from"the installer" told us that they couldn't do the work that day as scheduled because of an urgent family illness. When we called Yankee again, the Installation Manager offered to reschedule for the following week (not workable for us) or, though they normally don't do Saturday jobs, they would do so, & reiterated that an urgent personal issue was the reason for the delay. Though extremely inconvenient for us, we accepted that as the better alternative. The installers arrived on time on Saturday morning, worked with impressive efficiency, and were extremely polite & friendly. What surprised us was that they said that they could have completed the work as scheduled the day before & knew nothing about the phone calls we had received. These evident communication issues troubled us, but not the quality of the work. Time will tell whether the windows are as great as they appear & continue to function effectively over the long haul. Another strong positive: because of the inconvenience, they provided us with a $100 gift certificate to our favorite local restaurant. Overall, they provided excellent service & what appears to be an excellent product. However, their sales pitch stressed service & communication &, while better than some, lapses in quick availability of customer service & inconsistencies in communications led us to rate them extremely highly but less than perfect. We'd certainly strongly consider using them again for a different job but they didn't live up to the extra-high level of prompt, individual, personal service stressed in our initial meeting with their sales representative."
