Here's why: My job started out with an entry door replacement, evolved into a pantry expansion, and finally finished with an entire kitchen countertop replacement. I was very pleased with how they worked, the materials they used, and the attention to detail in the workmanship. And they were very responsive, communicated well and frequently, and checked in regularly to make sure the job was getting done right and on time. Each of their craftsmen were highly skilled, knew what they were doing, and didn't cut any corners. And each one was friendly and courteous to boot! I very much appreciated their attention to protecting the rest of the house, and they cleaned up the jobsite every single day at the end of their work day. Remodels are disruptive, no matter what. When they replaced the areas affected, they used materials that exceeded the industry standards. The whole crew was very professional and polite, answering any questions I had. While making the repairs they had noticed a few tiles were broken away from the original affected area, they replaced those at the same time they completed the other repairs. I have recommended them to family and friends. You get honest work with a fair price. "

A month and two emails later radio silence and no effort to pay the fine. Can't judge the workmanship since it hasn't rained enough to test the roof. However, given the companies failure to live up to the representation of the project manager and their failure to respond to my emails over such a simple issue, I anticipate problems will be forthcoming."
