Found SealPro on this site, and after reading some reviews and checking their site I called and asked a few follow up questions. Satisfied with the answers I retained SealPro. There price was competitive with what I previously paid, but I can't say if the price was high, low or just right since I didn't get other estimates. Had to wait a while for them to schedule me, and that happened only when I called to inquire as to when they might be coming. I was told that due to the amount of rain they were a bit backed up (reasonable answer) and they could actually schedule me in a couple of days. They showed up on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and the driveway looks as good as one could hope for given what sealing does. The few questions I had when they were on site were answered well, and I felt very comfortable with my choice. Just have to manage your expectations because there were a few imperfections and I actually consulted someone I know out of state who explained to me what causes those imperfections, in that sealing is not a resurfacing and imperfections that were there previously sometimes become more noticeable with a fresh application of sealant."

"Orion Asphalt Maintenance did a fabulous job. They filled the cracks using a trowelable crack filler. They then sealcoated the entire driveway. The cracks were completely filled and smoothed with a feathered edge. The driveway looks great and everything was left neat and clean. Orion did the job they promised, on time and at the agreed upon price. I would definitely use them again."

Twice I needed Gappsi to repair my ladder anchors that deteriorated and a broken brick. The owner Giuseppe Giuseppe was quick to return my call and sent the crew right over to do the repair. Giuseppe is professional and trustworthy and his team does quality work at a fair price I have recommended Gappsi many times."

"Two brothers showed up at our door at 7:30 one morning saying they could repave our driveway (it was in pretty bad shape). They said they could do it that day for $2,200. My husband told them he could give them half up front and a check that would be cashed when he let them know we had the funds in our account - we had our mortgage due the same week. They said no problem, had their guys do the work, and came back at the end of the day to collect the money. We gave them half the money and a check for the other half - post-dated for a later date. They assured my husband they would not cash the check until he gave them permission to do so. Well, they went ahead and cashed the check on the day our mortgage was due and caused us to go into overdraft in our account. We did not give them permission to cash the check and they did it anyway. My advice: just know what you are getting into before you agree to anything. If you don't have the money right then, do not give them a post-dated check to be cashed later - they will cash it when they want to. Buyer beware The paving job was OK. They paved over what was there and straightened out a few things. The pitch (where the water runs off the driveway so there are no puddles on the driveway) is not right, but there is nothing we can do about that."
