"Had water coming up through the floor drain in the basement when doing laundry which is the first sign that our sewer line is becoming blocked. Of course it has to be on a Sunday. Called City Sewer and Jeff came out within the hour. Was very friendly and professional. Our house sits back from the street farther than typical, so the sewer line is longer than average. I felt the price was reasonable and the service was excellent."

"Our primary sump pump failed triggering an alarm after midnight on a Sunday night/Monday morning of a holiday weekend.
Although we had a secondary back-up in line, this two was really struggling given all the recent rain. We called a few plumbers in the area who were supposed to have 24hr emergency service but Dependable Sewer was the only one who had someone to answer the phone. We explained our situation and we were quickly connected with a plumber, Derrick. He arrived to our home within 30 minutes and even though it was now after 2am, he was both jovial and professional. Derrick was able to replace our sump and get everything up and running very quickly. An overall stressful situation was resolved and we are very pleased with the responsiveness and quality of service. Thank you for all the help and we will definitely look to you for our plumbing needs in the future.
(As an aside the two other "24hr" emergency plumbers have yet to call back even though we left messages. If we waited for them for service we would be dealing with a flooded basement right now....)
"

"I thought it would be a huge job. He had it fixed in 15 minutes, charged me $75 for the call. He saw another leak in the faucet, ordered a part and had that fixed in 5 business days for another $100, part included."

"First visit they determined the problem, provided an estimate, replaced the failed sump pump and provided a temporary solution to the gravel that was entering through the collapsed wall of the sump well so I wouldn't be stranded and have the basement flood. We agreed on a estimate -- labor and parts costs were explained -- and scheduled an appointment for the all day job of jackhammering the basement floor to remove and replace the sump well liner. Ben explained everything clearly throughout the process. Work was done correctly and area was left clean. Sump liner replacement came in under estimate and replacement pump they recommended runs significantly quieter than previous one.
"

"The whole experience with this company was positive from the phone call to a very polite and reactive receptionist/secretary/dispatcher all the way to the end of the project. I called on the mid-morning (10am) of 9/16/2016 explaining that we had our basement drain back up and make a puddle of waste, water and toliet paper on the floor surrounding the drain. She said she would work me in the schedule and would call back mid to late afternoon to let me know when the workman would arrive. Approximately between 1:45pm and 2pm , Randy called and told me he would arrive in 12 to 15 minutes. He did just as he said and I showed him the problem and he brought his auger equipment in the back door so as to avoid any mess through the house and he set up shop and went to work as I explained what had happened and I expressed my concerns for tree roots or broken lines (the house was built in 1929) He talked me through his whole process as he did it and was explaining how he could feel through auger line that there were no roots, because the auger would be working harder to cut through them. He got to the city sewer and started to withdraw his auger and explained he saw on my shelf the package of Charmin and said we had a clog of toilet paper and that Charmin is notorious for that and recommended we switch to one more apt to break down like Northern or Angel Soft. He said he couldn't feel roots and that the auger was clear of roots and that there didn't seem to be any breaks in the line, or that too he would feel through the auger line. He cleaned up the area, packed up his auger and said he what the price would be and said he would write me up a receipt, all of which he did and he thanked me and said not to hesitate to call again if we had anymore troubles. I went with this company based on Angies List ratings and other customers feedback. I am new to the area and literally know no one in the service industries here. So Thank you Angies List and thank you Randy from Thornton!
"

"Service professional Bruce was dispatched to look at a toilet that was
leaking into the basement when it was flushed. Bruce arrived promptly
at the scheduled time of 8AM and analyzed the situation. Bruce removed
the toilet fixture, cleaned away the old sealant wax and prepared the
closet flange (the pipe that the toilet bolts to) for new fasteners as
the old ones had failed. He stabalized the closet flange with
additional fasteners, applied a new wax seal and repositioned the
stool. He checked for leaks in the basement and had me watch for leaks
as he flushed the toilet upstairs. Finally, he explained to me that the
fasteners and sealant wax are not really what holds the toilet to the
floor and keeps it stable it's the caulking under and around the toilet
that does that! This toilet had never had caulk around or under it and
I've owned the house for 15 years. Bruce applied the caulk and cleaned up the work area to complete the job.
"
