"Chris and his team did a great job in determining and fixing the issue of my squeaky and loose floor boards. They worked quickly and professionally to make the necessary installation and did a great job overall. I would recommend them to anyone and would hire them again."

"We are very pleased with our new kitchen. One of the cabinets needed a complete rebuild after it was installed and they did a wonderful job. We still have some work to be done but I am sure it will be done well. In the past we have also had a bathroom remodel done and were very pleased."

"Nick did an excellent job.  We had purchased 2 hours of labor through Angie's List, and he installed our shelving in that time frame.  Nick was very professional in every way.  We communicated well prior to the start of the job, so expectations were understood.  He kept up informed as the job progressed, asking questions as appropriate.
We are very happy to have found Nick, and anticipate having him do more work for us in the future.  He does plumbing and electrical as well as carpentry, and we will have him install some light fixtures for us in a few months. We highly recommend him!

"The work was performed to our compete satisfaction. We were especially impressed with the prompt response to our requests and the professional manner in which the scheduling and billing were processed. Our furniture was picked up and delivered to their shop to sand, remove debris, and apply two coats of stain. The 4 sweepers were installed with drill fittings."

"He came and tested the circuits and found out that not only did I have a defective circuit breaker for my outside lights, he also discovered a bad receptacle that had blown out a circuit breaker that I wasn't even aware of. He installed the new breakers and receptacle and installed a new fixture for the outside lights that had probably caused the problem with the circuit breaker to begin with. Everything worked when he was done and he was very prompt and charged a reasonable price for the services he performed. I would definitely use him again."

"I searched around for a local carpenter to install a bay window bench with drawer and bookshelves. Jack quoted us a competitive price so we went with Barnett Woodworks as we also liked some of the pictures of his previous work. The install had to be done in 2 waves as he had to make a custom template for the bench top once the rest of the furniture was in place. He wasn't sure he was going to get it done in a single piece and I told him that was okay. To my surprise, he attempted the single pice top, which was much more difficult of an install, and it turned out beautifully! I highly recommend using Barnett Woodworks for your customer cabinetry needs. Jack has lots of good ideas and obviously many years of experience."

FAQs for baseboard installation projects in Sahuarita, AZ

Installing crown molding can be challenging, depending on the material and your skill level. Lightweight materials like polystyrene and softwoods are easier for homeowners to install themselves, offering a cost-saving option. However, heavier materials like hardwoods and plaster are difficult to work with and require professional installation to achieve a high-quality result. Precision is crucial in measuring, cutting, and fitting crown molding, so hiring a professional ensures the best outcome.

Crown molding is available at various price points, ranging from $1 to $30 per linear foot, depending on the material. This wide range offers options for every budget. Affordable materials like MDF, PVC, and polystyrene provide cost-effective solutions, while premium materials like exotic hardwoods or metal offer a luxurious appearance at a higher cost. Regardless of your budget, you can find crown molding that enhances your home's aesthetic.

Crown molding is installed by professional finish carpenters or painters who specialize in detailed trim work. These experts possess the necessary skills and tools to ensure precise measurements, accurate cuts, and seamless installation. By hiring a professional, you can achieve a flawless finish that enhances your home's aesthetic appeal without the risk of common DIY mistakes.

Crown molding can be installed in various areas of your house to add elegance and architectural interest. It is commonly used where walls meet the ceiling, but you can also place crown molding around doors, windows, mirrors, and atop cabinets. Installing crown molding in these locations enhances visual appeal, creates a cohesive design, and adds a touch of sophistication to your home's interior.

To determine how much crown molding to purchase, start by measuring the length of each wall where you plan to install crown molding and add the measurements together to determine the total linear feet required. Purchase an extra 10% of material to account for waste from cutting angles and to ensure seamless joints by using full-length pieces when possible. Including additional material helps avoid shortages and ensures a smooth installation process.

For a professional crown molding installer, this task takes about 1 to 3 hours per room, depending on size and complexity. Factors like the material, design intricacy, and number of corners can affect the time. If you're doing it yourself, expect it to take longer as you get the hang of measuring and cutting precise angles. Advanced measuring and planning or hiring a pro can help the project go smoothly.
