"Great - the carpets had not been cleaned for over 15 years and after 3 boys, and 3 dogs, it needed a thorough job. Jeff did what he said they were going to do -- get the carpets looking almost new again. We are very pleased with the service! Money well spent!"

"It went great the techs was prompt, and they arrived and did everything that was stated over the phone. They also sent out a supervisor to check their technicians which I really appreciated. They used these corner guards to protect my newly painted walls. They taped over the vents so debris didn’t come out as well they were very informative and I would recommend MN Air Duct Cleaning great work for a awesome price. I got my ducts cleaned the blower motor and a coil as well."

"The first cleaning of this "Big Deal" was amazing.  They were very detailed and did an excellent job.   They returned for the second visit and did another excellent job.  They are very friendly and were just a pleasure to work with.

"We have hired this company twice, once to clean mattresses that had been in storage and the second time to clean all the carpeting in our house. Both times were excellent experiences. Very polite, punctual and outstanding results. We paid about $250 for one king mattress and one queen matress plus the box springs to be cleaned and about $500 for about 1800 square feet of carpet plus a rug and a flight of stairs to be cleaned."

"Called another company originally they asked how old the furnace is and I said about 5 yrs. old (it is 6 yrs old). They informed me that I should get a hold of the company that put it in because it should still be under warranty, which after I looked it was. So I called Service Today to set up an appt. to have them look at it. Andrew came out and with various questions asked I said that the thermostat we have is wifi and that is how we run it. Comcast upgraded the wifi in the neighborhood the day before and it was today I woke up and noticed that the thermostat wifi was not connected to the wifi anymore. He looked into it and noticed that when I put it on heat via by phone app or manually by the wall thermostat, it was turning on the A/C instead and visa versa. He came at a price to me of about $350 to run a diagnostic to find the issue. He did and then he comes back and tells me that the thermostat itself is burn out (I bought the thermostat from them when I had the new furnace installed 6 yrs. ago). Andrew goes to his van and of course comes with only 2 thermostats that he has on hand. One is not wifi and it was $350 or so and the other was $800 which was wifi programmable. He did say we could just go and get one from Best Buy or something but we would have to install it. We decided on the lower cost of the 2. As he was installing it I looked up the retail cost for the same exact one he was putting in (Honeywell T4Pro) and it was $75 at Best Buy. I mean really.........that much of a mark up in cost!!! It is like this company does not understand that we are in a pandemic and that money for so many people is really really tight!! To gouge customers like that. As I sat in my office crying about the cost I let myself get washed into, after a while I asked Andrew why such a big cost increase on the thermostat. He said he has nothing to do with the pricing of items, which I understood. Andrew was a nice guy and just doing his job. I put this gouging at the feet of the company because right now, people have to decide to either pay a heating/electric/etc. bill or pay a company a massive cost to have a thermostat put in. Andrew did take down some wires that were for a humidifier that was on the old furnace prior to installing the new one and also cleaned some dust and lint from the furnace. Will I call these guys again, only if I know that there is something wrong with the furnace that is under warranty still, other then that, I cannot afford them. They were better when they were Airtech. The C rating I gave it has more to do with how nice Andrew was then the company. For the company itself, I give it an F"

"I purchased an Angie's List coupon for $200 worth of work for $100 towards a full upholstery job. After they were delivered pictures of my chair, condition, and materials, gave a decent quote - slightly above competitors, but decent, and I went with it. And I trusted the prior positive Angies List reviews. The chair was delivered and materials selected, then I was told that since the chair was smaller than expected I was going to be given a "discount," however the discount given was taken off of a base price $100 over the originally quoted price. There went the Angie's List coupon value. Later the owner told me the pricing discrepancy my fault since I didn't debate the price up front - not an endeavor I want, or should have to undertake.
I was quoted a finished product in 10-14 days (not business, calendar, I specified), and was told I would get emails with pictures of the job, and updates along the way. The wood trim would look "like new," and everything would be rehabilitated. Awesome!
Except, after a month I hadn't gotten an email, call, smoke signal, etc. I figured that my chair must have been finished after passing the three-times-past-due-date, so I stopped in to pick it up - and was told the fabric just arrived. It was still going to take 10 days, but they'd let me know this time.
They did call me. And when I picked up the chair, the upholstery was (and is) really nice. I have zero problem with it, in fact. BUT, the price was inflated after the detailed estimate - presumably to recoup the $100 Angie's List discount - which I brought up when paying for the work they'd done. I was told that "nobody would do it cheaper," which I don't believe since I'd gotten quotes of between half to 2/3rd the price I paid for the same piece. I was told the delay of almost 40 days instead of 10 was out of their control due to "fabric shipping time" when I could've shipped my entire chair out of state for a guaranteed re-upholstery job withing 30 days for less cost. I can't buy into any of the story.
When I picked it up, there were chunks of their cushion material still duct-taped to the bottom after the "thorough" rehab. The wood that was supposedly going to look like new was, honestly, awful, and clearly worse off than when I dropped the chair off when I compared original pictures vs final product - when refinishing wood at a premium price, I'd expect refinishing, not somebody trying to cover up the screw-ups with a brown magic marker. Worse wood after their "work" than when I brought it in, I assume because they were late on delivery and rushed the job, perhaps.
Regardless. Great upholstery, truly. Nice shop, nice staff, no problem with that, it's truly great. But shady on the pricing that eliminated my original "discount", blew way past their product deadline, did a poor job on the woodwork... and then outwardly told me as a customer that I was the problem. And, I paid double the price of other quotes based on reputation?
Not willing bring them more work. But I hope they can correct the issues and serve others well, since they seem like they have a solid core.

FAQs for air ducts & vents cleaning service projects in Saint Cloud, MN

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that air duct cleaning is not required unless visible issues such as mold buildup, rodent droppings, or excessive dust are present. When such conditions exist, cleaning becomes essential to protect indoor air quality and maintain HVAC efficiency. This approach minimizes potential health risks and extends the system’s life.

Air ducts must be cleaned every three to five years as required by NADCA to preserve system efficiency and indoor air quality. The EPA insists that cleaning is necessary only when significant issues such as mold, pest infestations, or heavy dust accumulation are evident. Annual inspections by a certified professional promptly address any emerging concerns.

The ideal seasons for air duct cleaning are spring and fall. Cleaning during these periods prepares your HVAC system for the demands of both winter heating and summer cooling. These seasons provide moderate weather conditions that enable efficient service completion while minimizing disruption, ensuring your system performs at its peak.

Professional air duct cleaning takes a fixed duration of two to five hours, depending on the home’s size and the complexity of the duct system. Smaller residences with standard ductwork complete the service in two hours, while larger homes with extensive ducts require up to five hours. Additional repairs may extend this duration.

To prepare for professional air duct cleaning, ensure all vents are unobstructed by moving nearby furniture and clearing pathways. Secure any pets in a safe area and confirm that your HVAC system units are easily accessible for technician inspection. Proper preparation contributes to a higher quality service outcome and prevents delays, allowing the cleaning process to proceed efficiently.
