"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

Lot's of promises and not finished 4 months later. We own a Small 670 sq ft home. They promised it would be complete in 3 -4 weeks. They threw away household items, and have left 22+ items unfinished. 4 months later still not finished. Would never recommend."

"1st time home owner here who needed remodeling done after water damage from a unit above ours. We had some restoration work done by another company, but terminated that contract due to poor workmanship, price gouging we discovered upon closer inspection of their billing, and horrible communication and punctuality. Afterwards, I tried getting quotes directly from a few companies, and while I might get them to come check things out - only about 1/3 of them provided quotes. Somewhere in the process, I turned to Angi.com and ended up finding Curick Home Improvement. Josh and Allyson were quick to respond, and provided a timely estimate. Their previous work looked great, so we decided to contract with them. They were great to communicate with, easy to work with, and very accommodating to our schedules. I ended up having a family emergency and then death in the family which pulled me away from town for 4 months. They were very understanding of the situation, checked in on me from time to time, and had no problem rescheduling as needed. Josh and his crew were very friendly and the workmanship is top notch! We had a whole home water filtration system installed, electrical rerouting and wiring, sheetrock and texture, countertop and sink installation, plumbing, appliance connection and tile backsplashes installed.
