"They punctured the stand pipe to my upstairs bath room with a screw and after the screw corroded, I had sewage leaking inside my wall in my kitchen and into my basement cement blocks. They left the house without siding during the middle of the winter. Wanted full payment before they completed the job. Didn't complete the trim painting until July. Job was contracted in the prior Fall. They kept putting off my job until it ended up not being completed until the following summer. Very dissatisfied with work and the negative attitude of Brian regarding payment for work that was not completed. Repair work was done by another company as I would never recommend or hire Buresh again."

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. "When Dan and Nathan came for the estimate, they were very nice and helpful. In fact, one pane in the patio door was about to fall out of the frame. Dan made a temporary fix to keep it from falling out. That was something he didn't have to do. That closed the sale as far as I was concerned. I also got an estimate for siding (see review under siding). Then the delays started. The installer was several hours late coming to measure the windows. He was also delayed by a day or two on the install. The final small kitchen window was not installed until the siding had begun which was a delay of at least a month. So scheduling is not their strong point. The reason given was that he was finishing up another job. There was only one guy doing the windows He was good at it though."

"We are happy with the Windows.  However I suspect that the pricing floats according to visibility of project (busy street + sign = more 'discount').  I will say the installation went smoothly and we are happy with the result.  We didn't realize that there'd be a ledge in front of these new windows - kind of looks goofy, but for replacement windows I'm sure we could have done worse.  Installers were good & professional.  Some of the windows are difficult to lock. Also, the EPA Lead Testing fee is complete bunk. I don't think they did anything different in terms of making sure the lead paint dust didn't come into the house. The only time they put up a screen was for the front door installation. I bet the windows went to the landfill jus the same. <br />"

"Sam was available fast (I called Friday, he came Monday), got the job done quickly and accurately, and cleaned up after himself when he left. He had to go buy a part, but even so had the job done within a couple of hours. Fan looks great and works perfectly. Have saved his number in case other jobs come up."

"The new siding was beautiful and very well done. We are very happy with the finished product and the quality of the actual work.  However, the crew often did not show up on days that we were told they would show up. There was extremely cold and bad weather, and we did not expect them to show up on those days. But there were almost two weeks of good weather when no one showed. The overall progress was much slower than anticipated. We were initially given a two week time frame. The supplies were delivered to our house the first weekend in February, and they sat untouched for two weeks. The project was not completely finished until mid March, which was much longer than anticipated to not be able to use our driveway or garage. Also, the crew left nails and sharp shards of scrap siding over our porch, driveway, and porch - most of these (but not all) were cleaned up at the end of the project, but we didn't feel safe letting our children outside until we thoroughly cleaned up. The crew also smoked heavily and left cigarette butts all over our property, which weren't cleaned up.  <br /> I am impressed with the quality of the siding, and might use the company again, but I would not use the same crew. <br />"

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there.
