I had a lot of standing water at the bottom of the unit which became smelly after a day or two. He showed me the issue and gave me alternatives. We discussed all options. I decided to go the cheapest route for now and will consider other option if the issue persists. His prices are fair and competitive. Jerod is my appliance repairman. Once he does work for you there is no need to look for anyone else."

"We have a 3 year old Samsung refrigerator that was knocked out of service during a recent thunderstorm.  The lights on the fridge were on, but it wasn't cooling at all.  Mark came to our house and was on time.  He diagnosed the problem as a faulty control board.  He said that he was having trouble getting Samsung parts for other customers.  He said he put an order for the part and would let me know whether or not it came in when it was due, but he warned me that some of the other parts he was waiting on he had been waiting on for 7 weeks.  So it wasn't looking good.  That night I found a supplier that claimed to have the part I needed in stock and ready to ship.  I let Mark know the details by email.  He replied that evening to let me know to go ahead and order the part, and he would cancel the original order.  The part arrived, and Mark came over to install it.  The board that I got shipped to me did not match the original board exactly.  The new one was larger and it didn't look like it would work.  At first I thought I wasted my money on it, but Mark inspected it to see if it had all of the connections it needed, and found that it would fit in the control board housing.  So he asked me if I wanted to try it out or not.  I told him to give it a shot.  He installed it, and it worked like a charm.  We now have a working fridge again and we weren't even supposed to get our part yet.   <br /> I really liked the following about my experience with Mark:   <br /> 1.  He was upfront with me about the part availability troubles he was having.   <br /> 2.  He really worked with me when I found an alternate source for the part.* <br /> 3.  He showed up on time.   <br /> 4.  He charged a fair price for his work.  Thanks Mark. <br /> * I should add that by finding my own part I was prepared to deal with the return and potential waste of money if I ended up not being able to use what I ordered.  I don't recommend doing the same unless you're comfortable taking that same risk.  For me it was worth risking $120 to have a chance at getting a working fridge versus the possibility of having to wait months for a part that may not come in at all. <br /> <br />"
