"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. "We had a patio installed in our backyard. We met Bill from Sharper Cut at a home improvement show in Upper Marlboro. He was very professional from the beginning and scheduled a follow up meeting for us to come out and meet with him on that day. Before we had the meeting, he came out to the property to take pictures and see the layout. We had previously had a drawing which we sent him ahead of time. When we met with him, he had prepared several different options for a patio, including landscape. He listened intently to what we wanted and implemented it, including the seating wall, pillars and lights. He was very patient, showed the designs, modified them based on our questions and requests, and explained things very clearly. When there was a delay with a stone that we originally chose for the patio, he had us choose another stone to our liking, without making any adjustments to the price. The crew that did the work, showed up timely and were extremely professional. They would have been completed on time but got delayed because of rain storms that soaked the yard. However, as soon as it dried up they came out and finished the project. We are extremely pleased with the patio and all of our neighbors that come and see it, absolutely love it. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and would encourage anyone looking for quality work to be done for them to consider Sharper Cut. They are awesome!!!!"

"Fine-- I should have looked at pictures of what they were going to plant before agreeing to the work-- we spent a lot of money and it wasn't the plant I meant. They also came on a day we weren't home, and had I been home, I would have caught that and saved us money. We've had to redo the area again six years later because it wasn't what we wanted or needed. They did also put in a French drain which mostly solved a drainage problem, but not completely."

"We could not be happier with the job Stoneman Construction and Landscaping did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a patio, retaining wall, brick walkways, or brick stairs. Let us start by saying that we are very particular people and we are SO pleased with the work Stoneman has done for us. And to make it even more exciting, we did not know exactly what we wanted when requesting for quotes. In general, we wanted brick walkways connecting our front door to the sidewalk and to our driveway, a planter box in our front yard, and a patio in our side and back yards. But as far as design - we were at a loss. Alberto, Evelyn, and their team took our limited knowledge and easily filled in the gaps. The mid-range of three quotes we got, Stoneman's Alberto and Evelyn put us immediately at ease. He had a catalogue handy for us to see the types of pavers he recommended. As we did more research, we sent photos of a herringbone brick pattern for the walkways, patio/retaining wall styles, and timber boxes to finalize our contract. Evelyn always responded very quickly to our emails. Alberto gave us plenty of notice that we would need to wait about a month or so to get started. When it was time to begin construction, Alberto showed up with our photos in hand, and the Stoneman team was efficient and professional. It was a huge project with lots of moving pieces and they finished 95% of it in 5 days. At one point we didn't love the width of a step and asked for it to be widened. The widened step was done within a couple of hours and looks perfect. We had a few punch list items for them to come back and take care of, which they did timely with no need for followup. After we'd done the final walkthrough, told them how much we'd love it, and paid the final installment, we noticed a small gap after some dirt had settled. Alberto came back himself to make it right. Simply put, Stoneman delivered above and beyond what we expected. Alberto and his team patiently worked with our requests within reason. The final product is beautiful and added great value to our house and life. Thank you, Stoneman, Alberto, Evelyn, and your team!"

"Elliot returned my call within 24 hours. I had contacted several -- some didn't have firewood available and some never returned my call. He offered an all oak cord or a hardwood mix cord. The price difference was small so I went with all oak. He was able to deliver on a Saturday -- some had not been -- much easier since then I could be there and wouldn't have to take off work. We agreed to a time. On the day of delivery -- he ended up being about an hour late -- a delivery prior to mine had turned into a more time consuming event because the client hadn't made access to the delivery site available. I would have preferred he call to say he would be late -- I called and left a message at both office and cell -- and he did call me back once they were on their way to my house. Seems reasonable to have not been able to answer phone since I'm sure he was stacking wood. Once they arrived -- they were swift and stacked the firewood for me -- very neatly. Elliot was pleasant and professional. He had an assistance with him that stayed in the driveway pulling the wood out of their truck. A little unsettling in that I could hear the assistant complaining and using profanity while he worked -- I think when Elliot was not within earshot. I could hear him from inside my house though. In spite of that I was pleased overall with the price, the delivery/stacking service, and my interactions with Elliot. I have had a little trouble burning the wood -- it does not readily burn the way the hardwood that you buy in the grocery store does. I leave room for the fact that it might be my fire building skills. It does smolder and water bubbles out the edges as it burns though. <br />"

"Richie, the manager, quickly responded and said they had not put anything on the lawn to cause that but would send someone out to repair it. How fantastic is that?! There have been various times we've sent questions to Richie and he is always quick to respond and do whatever is needed to fix the problem....never says " it's not our problem." Love this service! We've used others in the past and even if you could contact them, they never responded and their prices were higher. Go with a professional like Premium!"
