"The technicians were on time, very knowledgeable, and absolutely very nice. Due to the refrigerator's age and extensive damage, their experience and professional opinion are that the refrigerator needs to be replaced, and that's exactly what we'll do. "I dont want to write this but very disappointed with Jordan, he did numerous jobs some good but towards the end he left us hanging with things not complete and we paid in full we have 2 -3 jobs he did not complete, did not return phone calls, voicemails and texts over a month. That is not right and unprofessional, I understand people are busy but please acknowledge your customers, we treated him like family, had him eat dinner with us while working, etc. Our mistake I guess, be careful who you hire, we trust and give people benefit of the doubt and get burned in the end sorry to say...."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Saint Johns, FL

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
