"I needed to find a contractor to build my front porch project and after talking to 4 of them and never heard back from them, I found Rickey Thru Home Advisor. I gave him a call and he was pleased to know about my project. He is amazing, understanding, professional, kind, pleasant to work with.He explained everything that I needed to know and updated me every step. He was on top of everything. Very organized with each team that he has. We had a little struggle with the county, for the permit and inspections but that didnâ  t stop him and he made thru . Very patient!! He works with amazing people. Billy and Jen did the finishing touches on my porch. They did a. great job. Im so thankful that I met them all and for the work they all done on my new Porch. "Ron came over ahead of time and took notes on what I wanted done, assuring me that it could all be done within the allotted time specified on the coupon deal. I was at work when they came, so don't know for sure if they were here for the allotted time, but they did not do all that I asked. Yard looks much improved, but just not sure why certain shrubs were left untrimmed, shrubs and small tree in front that he said they could trim were not done, and growth between pavers not completely removed. Also, I was told everything would be bagged up neatly and set in the alley or put in my dumpster, but the dumpster was filled to overflowing with loose foliage spilling out all over the area and not bagged - leaving it to me to deal with. They just didn't do all that was promised, and Ron has never checked back with me to see if I was happy with the job, nor did he provide me with an estimate on mulching that he promised initially. However, I don't think I would hire them for that now, anyway."

"The owner Ira came out to do the estimate. He was very professional and seems to know the products and industry. We had a few issues, but overall the finished job is beautiful and I'm glad we did it. Issues: The stone samples provided were not sealed, so it was impossible for me to know what the final color would be. Be prepared for either a surprise, or ask Ira for addresses where the product is installed and sealed. I'm glad I did. We had a very specific schedule to work by. My husband needed to be here on the day of grading so he could deal with a drain pipe that had to be moved, and we made this point clear when we were scheduling it. My husband took the day off to be home, but the guys only showed up that day to start work at 3-4PM and only got as far as clearing. The grading did not get done on that day. The grading did not get done as we asked for it to. We wanted the entire patio to slope away from the house. The first good rainstorm after the installation revealed that just a 'v' like indentation was made to divert the water. It starts from the screened-in area back door and runs to an edge. I fear that we might end up with water inside the house with an extended rainstorm or hurricane. As I stated earlier, the patio is beautiful. The biggest issue I have is the grading."

"When I posted my request to Angi, I promptly received an email from New Life Handyman Services (Joe Tragulia) stating that he was interested in doing the work for me. I replied back to him and then he followed up by calling me and asking if I would send him pictures of the needed repair and I did. Within minutes, he called me saying he was confident he could do the repair and informed me of his pricing structure. We scheduled a time for him to come to my house and was on time as he stated. He looked at the job and explained what we was going to do and I agreed. He took a trip to Home Depot and purchased what he needed (he gave me the receipt) and then made the repair. I watched him work and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. In short order, he finished, cleaned the area all in 2 hours. The price was totally unexpected, because the other contractors didn't want to do such a small repair or told me it was a difficult area to access the location on a 2nd floor dormer and would either need to build scaffolding and or tie-off with harnesses, which would have been very costly. Joe and his partner were confident and needed neither of that and had no problem reaching it. What could easily have cost me thousands from other contractors that I feel were going to gouge me, Joe did it for hundreds. He is an absolute Professional along with a very pleasant demeanor, along with very very reasonable pricing. Both my wife and I agreed we chose the right contractor to to the work for us and made us feel very comfortable that he was honest and did a fabulous job.
